Chancellor : President of Pakistan.
Students : 30,000 ( Undergraduate -18500 & Postgraduate -10,500)
Ranking In Pakistan (2015) : 10 th within 130 University.
Location :Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan.
Campus : Urban area.
It is a public University & tertiary education research institution in Islamabad,Pakistan. It was founded in 1980 & restructured in 1985. In 2012, IIUI was one of the largest in Pakistan. In February 2014, IIUI awarded King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.
Campuses : IIUI has two campus. The old campuses lies about the Faisal Mosque. The Mosque is one of the largest in the world & is able to accommodate 10,000 of people in it's prayer hall,women's gallery & courtyard.The new Campus occupies Islamabad's. IIUI infrastructure includes 6 academic buildings (3 for women & 3 for men) The University Student Accommodation includes 7 hostels for women & 7 for men.)
