The ending of Surah Aal-e-Imran contains beautiful du’as that bring the heart closer to Allah.

From reflecting on the creation of the heavens and the earth to seeking forgiveness for our sins and asking Allah for what He has promised us these verses show us a path towards stronger faith and a deeper connection with Allah.

Surah Al-Baqarah taught us how to live
and Surah Aal-e-Imran taught us how to remain steadfast.

May Allah make us people who understand the Qur’an and live by it
and keep us firm upon the truth. Ameen.

We can do our best and give our full effort but not every outcome is in our hands. Tawakkul means fulfilling our responsibility giving our best and then sincerely leaving the matter to Allah. When Allah’s help is with us no power can defeat us. Instead of carrying what is already in Allah’s control on our hearts let us focus on our effort and leave the rest to Allah. 🤍

You've learned the basic Sifaat... now let's complete the remaining ones.

Takreer is a natural vibration in the sound. Inhiraf means a slight inclination of the tongue. Tafashshi means the sound spreads gently in the mouth. And Istitalah means the tongue extends along the mouth.

These qualities may seem small, but they make a big difference in beautiful Qur'an recitation.

Keep learning these qualities and continue improving your Tajweed.

For a correct and beautiful recitation of the Qur’an, it is important to pronounce every letter with its specific characteristics. In this post, we learned the remaining four essential Sifaat: At-Takreer, Al-Inhiraf, At-Tafashshi, and Al-Istitalah, and understood their importance in the pronunciation of ر، ل، ش، and ض. Although these qualities belong to only a few letters, pronouncing them correctly makes a noticeable difference in the beauty and accuracy of our recitation. Sometimes we make a dua and start thinking, “How will this ever happen?” The circumstances just don’t seem like they could possibly allow it.

But the story of Maryam (AS) reminds me that nothing is impossible for Allah. He can provide from places we could never imagine, and make a way when we can’t see one.

So maybe we don’t always need to know “how” it will happen… we just need to keep trusting Allah.

In today’s Tajweed post, learn when و and ی become letters of Leen and how to pronounce them with softness.

There are only two letters of Leen: وْ and یْ when a Fatḥah comes before them. Remember, every Leen letter is not Madd, so don’t stretch it. Pronounce it gently.
