Taekwondo (Men & Women) and Cricket (Women) Intervarsity Championships Conclude

All Pakistan HEC Taekwondo (Men & Women) Championships concluded with University of Central Punjab (UCP) Lahore and Lahore Garrison University winning gold medals in Men and Women categories, respectively. The Championships were held in UCP and University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. The winners of these championships will be further trained and given an opportunity to compete in National Taekwondo Championship representing HEC.

Lahore College for Women University Bags Cricket (Women) Intervarsity Championship while University of the Punjab ended runner-up and Kinnaird College for Women University, Lahore finished third.

An international scientific and practical conference, Classics of Oriental Wisdom : The Intellectual Legacy of Magtymguly Pyragy and Allama Iqbal was held at AIOU in collaboration with Turkmenistan Embassy and the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies.

Ms. Sonjai Reynolds-Cooper, the incoming Education Office Director of USAID Pakistan, called on Chairman HEC Dr Mukhtar Ahmed at HEC Secretariat. Advisor Scholarships HEC, Mr. Raza Chohan and USAID officials were also present.

The Chairman welcomed the Director USAID in Pakistan and commended support of the US Government in various sectors, especially the higher education sector.

“The cooperation of Pakistan and the US Governments in education sector has a legacy of 75 years. We are witnessing an unparalleled change in the human history and investment in technology and higher education is the key to development. Keeping this is view, HEC programmes are aimed to provide opportunities to the youth so that they can contribute in the national development. Our partnership with USAID is also aligned with HEC’s vision and is focused to creating opportunities for talented students and faculty in Pakistan”.

After meeting with the Chairman HEC, Mr. Raza Chohan gave a comprehensive presentation on role and functions of HEC, its contributions in higher education sector during the last two decades, present initiatives of Scholarship Division, collaborations with international partners, policy intervention in quality, academics, research and development activities and future priority areas of HEC.

The Advisor Scholarships also briefed the delegates about the activities of USAID funded Merit and Needs based Scholarship Program, which has supported more than 6000 scholarships for meritorious but financially disadvantaged students especially female students from rural and less served districts to study in engineering, business social sciences, agriculture and medicine degree programs in top Pakistani universities. Mr. Raza Chohan appreciated USAID’s investment in the education sector of Pakistan and support extended to the universities.

*ڈاکٹر آف فارمیسی (مارننگ و ایوننگ پروگرام)،ویژول اسٹڈیز،بی ایس اوربی ایڈ(آنرز)میں داخلوں کا آغا ز28 اکتوبر سے ہوگا*

جامعہ کراچی کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسرڈاکٹر خالد محمودعراقی کی زیر صدارت داخلے برائے سال 2025 ء کے سلسلے میں منعقدہ اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ داخلہ ٹیسٹ کی بنیاد پر ہونے والے داخلے برائے سال 2025 ء(مارننگ پروگرام) کا آغاز 28 اکتوبر2024 ء سے ہوگا۔

انچارج ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف ایڈمیشنز جامعہ کراچی ڈاکٹر صائمہ اختر کے مطابق ڈاکٹر آف فارمیسی (مارننگ و ایوننگ پروگرام)،ویژول اسٹڈیز اوربی ایس،بی ایڈ(آنرز)اور بی ای چارسالہ پروگرام میں داخلوں کے لئے آن لائن داخلہ فارم 28 اکتوبر 2024 ء سے 06 نومبر 2024 ء تک جمع کرائے جاسکتے ہیں۔

بی ایس پروگرام میں اپلائیڈ کیمسٹری اینڈ کیمیکل ٹیکنالوجی،اپلائیڈ فزکس،بائیوٹیکنالوجی،بزنس ایڈمنسٹریشن،کیمیکل انجینئرنگ،کامرس،کمپیوٹر سائنس،کرمنالوجی، ڈاکٹر آف فزیکل تھراپی،ایجوکیشن، انوائرمینٹل اسٹڈیز،فوڈ سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی،ہیومن نیوٹریشن اینڈ ڈائیٹیٹکس،انٹرنیشنل ریلیشنز،ماس کمیونیکشن،پیٹرولیم ٹیکنالوجی،پبلک ایڈمنسٹریشن،اسپیشل ایجوکیشن اوراسپورٹس بزنس مینجمنٹ،ٹیچرز ایجوکیشن(بی ایڈآنرز)شامل ہیں۔

ڈائریکٹر ایڈمینشنز نے اجلاس کو بتایا کہ ڈاکٹر آف فارمیسی (مارننگ و ایوننگ پروگرام) اور بی ایس،بی ایڈ(آنرز)پروگرام کا داخلہ ٹیسٹ 17 نومبر2024 ء کو منعقد ہوگا جبکہ داخلہ فہرست 26 نومبر2024 ء کو جاری کی جائے گی۔

علاوہ ازیں شعبہ ویژول اسٹڈیز میں بیچلرز آف ڈیزائن(چارسالہ پروگرام)،بیچلرز آف فائن آرٹس(چارسالہ پروگرام) اور بیچلرز آف آرکیٹیکچرز (پانچ سالہ پروگرام)شامل ہیں۔شعبہ ویژول اسٹڈیز کا داخلہ ٹیسٹ 10 نومبر کو ہوگا جبکہ داخلہ فہرست 30 نومبر2024 ء کو جاری کی جائے گی۔

دریں اثناء مارننگ پروگرا م میں بی ایس فرسٹ اور تھرڈ ایئر میں اوپن میرٹ کی بنیاد پرہونے والے داخلوں کا آغاز18 نومبر 2024 ء سے ہوگا۔ خواہشمند امیدوار اپنے آن لائن داخلہ فارم28 نومبر 2024 تک جمع کراسکیں گے جبکہ ایوننگ پروگرام میں بی ایس فرسٹ،تھرڈ ایئر پروگرام اور ڈپلومہ اور سرٹیفکیٹ کورسز میں داخلوں کاآغاز 08 دسمبر 2024 ء سے ہوگا اورآن لائن داخلہ فارم 18 دسمبر 2024 ء تک جمع کراسکیں گے۔
