It is announced with heavy heart that our beloved teacher/ friend Prof. Shahid Amin has passed away. His funeral prayer will be offered at ICB, G-6/3, Islamabad today on 19.09.2021 at 11.00 a.m. and later on he will be buried at H-11, graveyard.

May Allah rest his soul in peace.

A message from ICB!!!

January 1969,ICB students trip to Dacca. This picture was taken at Islamabad Airport. from the left are Nadir Khan (class of 1972), Saleem Qureshi (class of 1971), Late Ishrat (class of 1970), Nasir Soofi (class of 1970), PIA captain, Late Tayyab Yazdani Malik (class of 1972), Ziaullah (School Captain, class of 1969), Mr James (our Maths and Physics teacher), Muhammad Ali (class of 1972), Akbar (class of 1971), Azhar Zia-ur-Rehman (class of 1971).This trip was funded by Burmah Eastern -- They were charged Rs 100 each only.This 10 day trip was to Dacca, Chittagong and Khulna. They sailed through the Sunderbans.

Islamabad College for Boys (ICB), our alma mater, has inspired several generations of students in the last 55 years. ICB’s alumni and alumnae, commonly known as “ICBians”, carried the proud traditions of ICB in all walks of life. For most of us, any reference to ICB evokes nostalgia of bygone years, of youth, of camaraderie and, above all, a sense of deep gratitude for our beloved teachers — after all, we’re a mere reflection of their dedication and selfless devotion to our future.

To commemorate the services of our great teachers, we’re planning an evening with the families of our deceased legendary teachers, along with those who are alive. We are also naming different blocks at ICB campus in the names of late Mr. H.H Siddiqui, late Mr. M.A. Beg, late Mirza Khursheed Anwar Beg, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Khan and Late Madam Surayya Shuja Qazi .

You are cordially invited to join the event to be attended by our old Principals & teachers as well, on 6th August 2021 at 5:30 pm at ICB.
