The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, organized a grand Farewell ceremony to bid farewell to the BSc Electrical Engineering Technology Students. The event was meticulously planned and executed to commemorate the achievements and hard work of the graduating batch.

The esteemed Chief Guest for the occasion was Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amir (Director ORIC). His presence added a sense of importance and honor to the event. Dr. Shahid Ikram (Chairman DECE) delivered the opening remarks, setting the tone for the ceremony and expressing his appreciation for the students' dedication and commitment throughout their academic journey.

The highlight of the event was a session conducted by Engr. Ubaid Umar (Incharge BScEET Program). Engr. Ubaid proudly highlighted the outstanding performance of the top performers of the batch, sharing their inspiring success stories and memorable experiences.

Dr. Muhammad Amir, who also holds the position of Program Evaluator at the National Testing Council (NTC), took the opportunity to share his valuable insights. He emphasized the significance of developing strong soft skills to secure favorable positions in the highly competitive job market. His words of wisdom resonated with the audience and provided valuable guidance to the graduating students as they embark on their professional journeys. As a token of recognition, the top performers of the batch were awarded Appreciation Certificates in various categories.

After the formal proceedings, a scrumptious lunch was served among the participants and esteemed guests, providing an opportunity for networking and fostering a sense of camaraderie.

In conclusion, the Farewell ceremony organized by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering was a resounding success, honoring the accomplishments of the BSc Electrical Engineering Technology students. The event not only recognized their achievements but also provided valuable insights and guidance for their future endeavors. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is delighted to announce the successful completion of the Capstone Project Demonstrations for the students of the BSc Electrical Engineering Technology Program (Fall 20 Batch). This significant event showcased the culmination of their academic journey and practical application of their acquired knowledge.

We would like to express our gratitude to the esteemed members of the evaluation panel, which included Dr. Wasim Khan, Engr. Haris Anis, Dr. Syed Hasan Murtaza, Engr. Rizwan Lateef, and Engr. Muhammad Muzammil uz Zaman, for their valuable contribution in evaluating the projects.

We were honored to have the Dr. Shahid Ikram (Chairman, DECE) visit the project demonstration site, where he personally witnessed the students' remarkable achievements. His presence served as a source of inspiration and encouragement for the students, reinforcing the importance of practical problem-solving approaches.

We commend the students for their hard work, dedication, and successful completion of their projects. Their commitment to addressing real-life challenges through innovative solutions is commendable. We strongly encourage them to continue this practice, as it plays a vital role in honing their skills and fostering their ability to tackle complex problems in the future.

Once again, congratulations to all the students for their outstanding accomplishments. We remain committed to providing a nurturing environment that promotes academic excellence and practical application of knowledge.

A workshop titled "Arduino for Robotics: Theory to Practice" was hosted by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, FET, IIUI. The attendees, who were from the BS Electrical Engineering and BSc Electrical Engineering Technology Program, participated in a hands-on training session where they were taught how to interface Arduino with various sensors and given practical experience in using Arduino for robotics. Dr. Aleem Khaliq and Engr. Muhammad Asad, who have over 15 years of experience in the field, conducted the workshop.

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Organized a Webinar on Supervised Industrial Training Report Writing and Compiling SIT Log Book for the students of BSc Electrical Engineering Technology. Engr. Ubaid Umar guided the attendees on requirements and procedure of report writing and important points to consider while compiling a log book. Students were finally advised to follow the timelines while completing the requirements of Supervised Industrial Training.

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering arranged a Refresher on OBE in Engineering Technology. Session covered the complete OBE Systems starting from CLO Statement Designing to OEL/BEP with practical examples. Engr. Ubaid Umar explained the implementation of Open Ended Labs and Broadly Defined Engineering Problems. All the Faculty Members of Engineering Technology Program Attended the session. Q&A Session held at the end of the session to support the outcome of the session.

Digital Certificates were distributed among the attendees of Seminar on "4G Communication Technology, Services and Safety Procedures".
