Roots School System-DHA-II

Roots International Schools DHA-II Sector C, & Sector D will remain closed tomorrow i.e. Friday 22nd November, 2013 due to current prevailing situation of the city.
• Saturday 23rd November, 2013 will be a working day for RIS DHA II Sector C & D and regular classes will be held. The school timings for Saturday will be from 8:00am-3:30pm.
• School Timings for Grade I - IGCSE I,II,III will be 8:00 am to 3:30 pm w.e.f Monday 25th November 2013.
All Management, Administration and teaching staff has to report in the offices.

Roots International Schools Sector C & D shall remain open with effect from tomorrow, 19 November 2013 for staff & students.Please ensure punctuality.

RIS DHA II Sector C shall remain closed on Monday 18 Nov 2013 for students only. Howevever, for teachers & administrative staff it shall be a working day.

RIS,DHA-2, celebrated "Rainbow Day" .Children dressed up in rainbow colours. They brought balloons with them. Children participated in activities like making rainbow wheel and hand printing. Other than that they also made rainbow headbands. Children had lot of fun blowing and bursting balloons as well. They thoroughly enjoyed the day's activities planned for them.

RIS celebrated" Green Day" with great zest and fervor. The idea was to indulge in the activity of "Recycling and Reusing" stuff. Children wore green shirts and brought empty plastic bottles to make baskets and planters. Some of them painted old glass bottles for decoration. Few of them also used old material to make different art objects.

RIS DHA-2 sector C celebrated “Blue day".Children showed up at school wearing blue clothes and brought their blue toys along with them. Children enjoyed blue dot art on pictures and pasted paper cuttings to make pictures of blueberries. In addition they blew blue balloons. Through these activities kids expanded their knowledge and vocabulary related to Blue colour and could easily differentiate from the other colours.

RIS DHA – 2 Sector C organized “Yellow Colour Day” as part of colour week activities. Yellow brightened the otherwise cold and cloudy day. The children engaged themselves in different art activities like making of collage and painting yellow items such as bananas and rubber ducks. Overall a colorful day full of fun and frolic.

RIS,DHA-2 sector C celebrated "Red Day". Children dressed up in red and brought red toys with them.
They enjoyed activities such as painting and thumb printing on the pictures. Children enjoyed playing and sharing their toys with the classmates. They wore apple and strawberry headbands

RIS DHA-2 Sector C organized a “drawing and painting competition” for Montessori students.
This competition was held to bring finesse in the strokes while using different mediums of art. The event also helped to improve the eye and hand coordination of the children. Children performed outstanding art work in the competition.
