Place of abduction: Karachi

Danial Nasir, son of Abdul Nasir, a resident of Naseerabad and a graduate of Governance and Public Policy from the National University of Modern Languages (Islamabad), Danial Nasir has been forcibly disappeared near NCCI Hospital in Karachi on 16 February. He had gone to Karachi for the purpose of his treatment.
5 months and 10 days have passed However, to date, his arrest has not been made public, nor has he been produced before the court, which constitutes a complete violation of human rights.
In human society, students who seek to quench their thirst for knowledge across various disciplines turn to major educational institutions so that, by acquiring quality education, they may prove themselves to be valuable contributors to a progressive and developed society but they
have consistently been the prime targets of the state’s repressive policies harassed, abducted, silenced, and disappeared without due process.
The enforced disappearance of Baloch students remains a deeply troubling and unlawful practice that continues to cause immense suffering to families and communities across Balochistan.
These actions violate fundamental human rights, including the right to liberty, security of person, and due process under both Pakistani law and international human rights standards.
The continued disappearance of students must be condemned, and the authorities are obligated to ensure transparency, accountability, and the immediate production of all missing persons before competent courts in accordance with the law.

The Baloch Students Council, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad is pleased to inform all prospective applicants that the requirement to appear in the HEC Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) has been waived for admission to BS programmes for the current admission cycle.

Accordingly, all eligible candidates can apply for admission regardless of whether they have appeared in the USAT. Candidates who have taken the USAT, irrespective of their qualification status, are also eligible to apply. Applicants are encouraged to complete their admission process within the prescribed deadline and follow the official admission guidelines issued by Quaid-i-Azam University.

The release of Kambeer Baloch after his enforced disappearance brings relief to his family, friends, and all those who consistently raised their voices for his recovery.
His return is a reminder that collective resistance can make a difference. At the same time, it highlights the continuing crisis of enforced disappearances faced by the Baloch Nation, particularly Baloch students and political activists.
While we welcome his safe release, many others still remain missing, and their families continue to endure uncertainty and pain. The demand for justice, accountability, and the immediate recovery of all forcibly disappeared persons remains unchanged.

Call For X Campaign

BSC Islamabad is launching a X( formerly Twitter) campaign against the enforced disappearance of Kambeer Baloch in Islamabad. The continuous targeting, harassment and enforced disappearances of Baloch students have become an alarming reality that demands urgent attention from every conscious voice.

We urge students, civil society members, journalists, and human rights advocates to raise their voices against these injustices and stand in the fight of survival.
