Sayyidah Durrah bintu Abi Lahab (radiyallahu ‘anha) reported that a man once stood up and inquired from Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) while he was on the pulpit, “O Messenger of Allah, who are the best people? ” Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “The best of people are:

Those who recite the Quran the most
Those who possess the greatest fear of Allah
Those who enjoin good the most
Those who forbid evil the most
Those who maintain and join family ties the most.”

Imam Musa al-Kazim (A.S.) was born on *7th Safar 128 Hijri* in a place called *Abwa*, located between Makkah and Madinah.
His father was *Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (A.S.)* and his mother was *Hamidah Khatun*.
He is known by the titles *"Kazim"* (the one who controls anger) and *"Bab al-Hawaij"* (the door to needs).

He was born on 7th Safar 128 Hijri in *Abwa*.

*Parents:*
His father was *Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (A.S.)*, our sixth Imam.
His mother’s name was *Hamidah Khatun*.

He is known as *Kazim* for his patience and control over anger,
and *Bab al-Hawaij*, because many people seek his help in times of need.

*Importance:*

7th of Safar marks the blessed birth of *Imam Musa al-Kazim (A.S)*,
known as *Bāb al-Hawāij* (the Door to Needs) and *al-Kazim* (the one who suppresses anger), born in the holy city of Madinah.

He was the noble figure who, in the face of *oppression and imprisonment*, upheld the responsibility of Imamate through *patience, silence, and devotion*.
Even today, believers call upon him as *Bab al-Hawaij* — the one whose intercession is never rejected.

In a time of severe political and ideological pressure, the Imam stood firm with *knowledge, supplication, and quiet resistance*, raising the flag of truth with dignity.

His life teaches us that:
- *Patience is not weakness*, it is inner strength
- *Knowledge is not just spoken*, it's lived through action
- *Supplication is not mere words*, but sincere connection backed by deeds

*Birth:* 5th Sha'ban, 38 AH, Madinah
*Father:* Imam Hussain (a.s), grandson of the Prophet (s.a.w)
*Mother:* Shahrbanu (daughter of Yazdgard, the king of Persia)

*Key Aspects of Life:*
Imam Sajjad (a.s) was the only surviving adult male from the tragedy of Karbala. Due to illness, he couldn't participate in the battle but delivered powerful sermons in the courts of Kufa and Sham to convey the message of Imam Hussain (a.s).

*Captivity & Patience:*
After Karbala, he was taken captive with the women and children of Ahlul Bayt. He exposed the injustice of the tyrants through courageous speeches.

*Worship:*
He was known as “Sajjad” because of his frequent prostration. His worship was not just ritual; it was filled with awareness, resistance, and devotion.

*Books:*
- *Sahifa Sajjadiya:* A collection of 54 deep, spiritual supplications on topics like justice, reform, self-purification, and servitude.
- *Risalat al-Huqooq:* A treatise outlining over 50 human rights.

25 محرم الحرام 95 ہجری کو آپ کو زہر دے کر شہید کیا گیا، اور آپ مدینہ منورہ میں جنت البقیع میں مدفون ہیں۔

*Our heartfelt condolences to all lovers of Ahlul Bayt (a.s)*

Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (a.s) was the son of Imam Hussain (a.s) and the only surviving Imam after the tragedy of Karbala. He was known for his patience, worship, and beautiful supplications. After Karbala, he was taken as a prisoner and suffered much hardship, but he continued to guide the people through his prayers and character.

He spent his life spreading the teachings of Islam through wisdom and worship. His famous book *Sahifa Sajjadiya* is full of spiritual knowledge and heartfelt duas.

On 25th Muharram, 95 AH, he was poisoned and martyred by the order of the Umayyad ruler. He is buried in Jannat al-Baqi, Madinah.
