The school of sociology Quaid-i-Azam University organized "Patriotism Day" in recognition of Pakistan’s win against India.
The event was marked by enthusiastic participation by the students and faculty of the School of Sociology. The Director School of Sociology (Prof.Dr. Hazir Ullah), passionately and firmly conveyed a strong message of patriotism, unity, and national pride.
The ceremony concluded with a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony, celebrating the courage and success of Pakistan armed forces. He stressed the students to be in deep love with Pakistan. He raised the slogan "Pakistan First, long live Pakistan for ever.

The School of Sociology, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, had the privilege of hosting M.Phil scholars from Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU). The scholars participated in an enriching session guided by Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, Director of the School of Sociology.
Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah shared his extensive expertise in the field of social research, providing valuable insights into developing effective research proposals and constructing a solid theoretical framework for academic work. His lecture was aimed at enhancing the research capabilities of the scholars and equipping them with essential skills for their academic journey.
We are grateful for this productive collaboration and look forward to more such events that foster academic growth and knowledge sharing.

The School of Sociology, Quaid-i-Azam University, successfully hosted an insightful International Seminar on "Children in Conflict with Law" on February 19, 2025. The event provided a platform for in-depth discussions on juvenile justice, child rights, and policy interventions.
We were honored to have distinguished speakers:
🔹 Prof. Dr. Adeela Ahmed Shafi (University of Gloucestershire, UK), an expert in youth justice and education. Who shared her view regarding the juvenile system of Pakistan.
🔹 Mr. Syed Ishtiaq Gilani (CEO, UGOO, Pakistan), who shared valuable insights on child welfare and legal frameworks.
🔹 Mr. Aziz Iqbal (Ministry of Human Rights), who highlighted policy measures for protecting children in conflict with the law.
The event also saw the active participation of Dr. Sadia Saeed, Dr. Imran Sabir, and Dr-Farhan Ahmed Faiz, esteemed faculty members of the School of Sociology. Their contributions enriched the discussions and engagement with students and researchers.
As a token of appreciation, Dr. Sadia Saeed presented shields to the distinguished speakers at the conclusion of the seminar.
Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, Director of the School of Sociology, the seminar fostered meaningful academic discourse on this pressing issue.
