Allah gives us the means to achieve our goals and leads us to our desired state.

Whether it’s conquering a caffeine addiction, successfully launching a passion project, responding more patiently, or waking up for tahajjud every day, know that it is Allah who gives you what you need to overcome your greatest obstacles.

Therefore, if we are struggling or confused and feel overpowered by weakness, uncertainty, or the hurtful actions of others, we should treasure this dhikr and repeat it frequently.

As believers our default should be speaking good words, whether it’s training ourselves to praise and glorify Allah during times of distress, encouraging others to be patient and increase in good deeds, or making du’a for people who annoy us.

The last thing we should do is indulge in gossip, slander, verbal abuse, and speculation about other people’s lives and doings.

The Prophet ﷺ warned us,
“One who indulges in calumny (slander) will not enter paradise.”
[Sahih Al-Bukhari]

We need to be constant in our istighfaar (seeking forgiveness) for the sins of our tongue.

May Allah grant us sound hearts that translate to beautiful speech and beneficial actions. Allahumma Aameen.

Being truthful paves the way for many righteous deeds.

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise, and a man keeps on telling the truth until he becomes a truthful person. Falsehood leads to evil, and evil leads to the Fire, and a man may keep on telling lies till he is written before Allah, a liar. "
[al-Bukhari]

So analyse yourself: Are you truthful in your intentions, words and actions?

We all have goals and priorities in life. But are they the right goals and priorities? Remember, this world and all its enjoyment is temporary, fleeting and short-lived.

It's important that we understand this, so that we enter the right race! The real race - is the race towards Allah's Pleasure and Jannah. So rush towards all good deeds. Be the first to do good. Do more than what others are doing!
