Suicidal feelings are not the same as giving up on life. Suicidal feelings often express a powerful and overwhelming need for a different life. Suicidal feelings can mean, in a desperate and unyielding way, a demand for something new. Listen to someone who is suicidal and you often hear a need for change so important, so indispensable, that they would rather die than go on living without the change. And when the person feels powerless to make that change happen, they become suicidal.

City sleeps, slums don’t.
City dreams, hospitals don’t.
City yawns, emergencies don’t.

While he was giving a final touch to his hash joint, someone was being taken into emergency of the hospital for the severe cardiac arrest.

While she was talking to her beloved, someone’s dead body was being delivered home. That someone who had a normal life till the evening before.

While he was planning for his new home, a medical report changed his every ambition. Cancer. Last stage. Just a step away from the other world.

While she was enjoying her pregnancy with dreams and motherly passions, her heart was planning to stop right at childbirth to leave a motherless lad in the world.

Our struggles, our pains, our cancers, our tumors, our clots, our stones, our fractures, and our every inch of self is a tragedy. Either we are facing the tragedy already or are waiting to be shocked.

These tragedies are so severe, so painful, so ugly; that we have nothing in life to divert ourselves. So we have same stupid jokes. Same laughs. Same songs. Same poetry.
Illusions and delusions.

It takes years and decades to transform a life.
But it only takes seconds to demolish everything.

Do something good for others

was brilliant in every way, through her work and personality alike. We all will miss you dearly. May Allah give her the highest ranking in Jannah. Praying for her and all her loved ones in this difficult time.
