IST Alumni, Mr. Naeem Ullah Khan, was part of the core team responsible for this project of national importance. Belonging to Aerospace Engineering Batch -3, Mr. Naeem Ullah Khan has since contributed to nation's space program in various domains. IST Robotics Society and Department of Avionics Engineering, successfully conducted a 2-Day Remote Control (RC) Aircraft Design Workshop at Westminster Academy, Islamabad on 16–17 February, 2026.

The workshop provided students with hands-on exposure to RC aircraft design fundamentals, aerodynamics concepts, and practical building techniques. Participants actively engaged in learning, designing, and understanding the real-world applications of avionics engineering.

It was an exciting experience to inspire young minds towards innovation, technology, and aviation.

Congratulations to Team Aeronautics Hercules for securing 1st position in the Fly Your Own Plane category at TAKKRA ’26, hosted by University of Central Punjab. Competing against 30+ teams from across Pakistan, the team proudly continues its winning legacy for the third consecutive year an outstanding achievement in innovation, teamwork, and aeronautical excellence.

Qadri Group Conducted Campus Placement Interviews

On Campus Placement Interviews were conducted for graduating Batch of Institute of Space Technology. Students from Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, and Computer Science were interviewed for their potential placement as part of the Qadri Group's LFM Program

IST sealed a dominant 68-run win in the HEC Cricket Championship against Capital University (CUST) on Feb 13, 2026.
Tomorrow IST will play it's second match against Air University at COMSATS, Isb.
