PIVOT Islamabad has organized 03 days interactive Training for Controllers of SOS Pakistan from all the regions of the country from 12-09-2024 to 14-09-2024.

Defense and Martyrs Day was celebrated in PBF School & College, Islamabad. Ms Gulmina Bilal, Chairperson NAVTTC graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Secretary Workers Welfare Fund (WWF), Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmed was another distinguished guest of the event.

The purpose of celebrating the Defence & Martyrs Day was to pay tribute to our Shuhada and Ghazis on one hand and to educate our children about the significance of this day, on the other. Ms. Sara Mohsin, Principal PBF School & College welcomed the guests. The students displayed well choreographed performances based on patriotic songs. The students also delivered speeches in relation to the Defence & Martyrs Day.

Madam Shaista Sohail and Brig Suba Khan Malik, in their respective remarks, apprised the audience of an overview of the SOS Group and the humanitarian activities of SOS Foundation, particularly its education initiatives.

TDI's One-Day Weapon Handling and Safety Training!

Today marked a significant milestone as TDI conducted an intensive one-day training session for our CIT crew on weapon handling and accident prevention. Led by our esteemed CEO, Brig Suba Khan, the session was packed with invaluable insights and practical tips to ensure the safety and proficiency of our team.

Brig Suba Khan took the lead, emphasizing the importance of handling weapons with the highest level of safety and care. Here are some key points from her enlightening session:

Understanding the intricacies of the weapon. Brig Suba Khan meticulously outlined the safety protocols that must be followed at all times, from keeping fingers off the trigger until ready to shoot to maintaining proper muzzle control.
Proper grip and stance were emphasized as fundamental elements of effective weapon handling. A secure grip and stable stance lay the groundwork for accuracy and control. Clear and concise communication ensures everyone is on the same page, minimizing the risk of accidents.

Learning is a lifelong journey, especially when it comes to mastering the art of weapon handling. Regular training sessions are essential for honing skills and staying sharp.

We're thrilled to announce that TDI conducted an intensive one-day training session focused on weapon safety and accident precautions for our team. The training was expertly facilitated by none other than our very own Head of TDI, Arooj Malik, Under the Guidance and supervision of CEO TDI Brig. Subah khan, along with the diligent coordination of Amna Awan and Qasim Umar.

During the session, we delved into crucial dos and don'ts regarding weapon handling and precautionary measures to ensure everyone's safety. The highlight of the day was the comprehensive demonstration of various weapons, accompanied by insightful discussions on proper handling techniques by Col. Masood.

But that's not all! We also engaged in hands-on drill sessions to reinforce our learning and enhance our skills in real-time scenarios. Our Armorer explained the weapon handling in detail to our participants and answering all their questions.

Remember, safety always comes first, and with the knowledge gained from today's session, we're better equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
