The College commemorated “Solidarity Day with the Pakistan Armed Forces” today in connection to operation Ghazab Lil Haq
in an earnest yet celebratory manner. The event was attended by staff, administration, and students of the college. Teachers, Teacher Managers and students from Jan Mohammed Jamali PC School, Qazi Abdul Qayyum PC School, and Syed Panah Ali Shah Higher Secondary School also joined in making this event an unforgettable occasion of solidarity. The event's goals were to demonstrate unwavering support, appreciation, and respect for the Pakistan Armed Forces for their vital role in protecting our country and keeping its people safe. The prospective teachers of B.Ed. Part-II, along with the college faculty, visited the Arts Exhibition organized by the Institute of Arts & Design, University of Sindh. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for students to explore creativity, artistic expression, and innovative ideas displayed by talented artists. The interaction with the artists and their faculty was truly inspiring and amazing. They enjoyed each moment of the exhibition.

The farewell ceremony was held today on February 18, 2026 to honour Mr. Ramdas and Ms. Mira on their retirement after many years of dedicated service as supporting staff of the institution. The ceremony was attended by the Principal, faculty members, administrative staff, and the HM of PC School, who gathered to express their heartfelt appreciation for their sincere efforts and commitment. Throughout their service, Mr. Ramdas and Ms. Mira played a vital role in maintaining a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for students and staff. The speakers acknowledged their hard work, loyalty, and quiet dedication. The event concluded with heartfelt words of thanks from Mr. Ramdas and Ms. Mira, who expressed their gratitude to the college management for the honour and recognition.

The farewell ceremony was held today in honour of Mr. Sikandar Leghari, Oriental Teacher, on his superannuation. It was attended by Mr. Inayatullah Sheikh, Additional Director TTIs, the Principal, faculty, staff, and heads of attached schools. Speakers appreciated his long service and praised his morality, sincerity, and simplicity. In his remarks, Mr. Sikandar Leghari thanked everyone for their support and cooperation throughout his career.

The University of Sindh team, comprising Mr. Muhammad Mashooque Siddiqui Controller of Examinations, Dr. Nanak Ram Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, and Dr. Farhat Naureen visited the examination centre today to observe the ongoing B. Ed. (Hons) 1st semester examination process at the college. They expressed satisfaction over the smooth and orderly conduct of the examinations.

The 1st semester examinations of B.Ed (Hons), conducted by University of Sindh are successfully underway at the college. Prospective teachers from Govt. National Agro-Technical Teachers Training Center, Govt Elementary College of Education (Women) and Govt Elementary College of Education (Men) Hyderabad are appearing in the examinations with discipline reflecting their commitment to the noble profession of teaching. Dr. Arjumand Bano Soomro, Associate Professor (Software Engineering) is serving as the External Examiner. The college Centre ensures transparency, fairness, and the maintenance of proper academic standards.

The National Assessment Wing of the Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE) organized two days o training of Test Administrators (TAs) for large scale National Achievement Test (NAT-2026) was conducted at the college from 22nd to 23rd January 2026. A total of 68 Test Administrators from various districts, including Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Thatta, Badin, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Sajawal participated in the training. Lead Master Trainers actively engaged the participants in hands-on practical activities to ensure the proper conduct of the test in schools that is scheduled on 26th and 27th January 2026.

The Orientation Session for B.Ed (Hons) Batch 2026 was organized at the campus today. The Principal warmly welcomed the prospective teachers and briefed them about the daily routines of the college. Mr. Rehan Ali Mughal delivered a presentation highlighting the college profile, subjects, and faculty. Dr. Basheer Channa motivated the students to adopt hard work and punctuality for a successful career. Mr. Sarwar Jamali explained the assessment policy and emphasized the importance of four-year B.Ed Elementary. Mr. Nevand Ram, senior faculty member awarded shields to students of 2k25 batch in recognition of their outstanding academic performance . Senior prospective teachers shared their experiences at the college and guided the new students on a visit to the library, computer lab, attached High School, and JMJ PC School.
