Report on Interactive Awareness Session on Women Empowerment and Women as Peace Builders

An interactive awareness session was organized by Dr. N.A. Baloch Model School, Hyderabad in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department on the important themes of Women Empowerment and Women as Peace Builders through Education.

The session was held under the patronage of Dr. Hamida Narijo, Principal of the school, who appreciated the efforts of the organizers for arranging a meaningful program focused on social awareness and the role of women in society.

The distinguished speakers of the session were Dr. Qurat In Shah from the Social Welfare Department and Dr. Zohra Khatoon Khowaja from the Education Department. Both speakers highlighted the importance of women’s empowerment, gender equality, and the vital role of female teachers in promoting peace, tolerance, moral values, and positive social change in society.

They further emphasized that teachers play a key role in shaping the character of students and developing responsible, peaceful, and respectful citizens. The speakers also discussed how educated and empowered women contribute significantly to community development and national progress.

The session remained highly interactive and informative. Teachers actively participated in the discussion and shared their views, which made the session more engaging and productive. The participants appreciated the valuable guidance provided by the speakers and expressed that such sessions are beneficial for professional growth and social awareness.

At the end of the session, appreciation and gratitude were extended to the guest speakers, participants, and organizers for making the event successful and impactful.

Report on Awareness Session with National Bank of Pakistan

A briefing session on the Apna Ghar Program and other loan schemes offered by the National Bank of Pakistan was conducted at Dr. N.A. Baloch Model School.
The session was held in the school premises for the teachers of the institution under the patronage of Dr. Hamida Narijo, Principal of the school.
The session was conducted by Madam Farzana Memon, Bank Manager, who briefed the teachers about various government welfare initiatives, financial assistance programs, and loan facilities available through the bank. The discussion included information regarding business loans, youth empowerment schemes, women support programs, and procedures for applying for financial assistance under Prime Minister initiatives.
Teachers actively participated in the session and discussed different opportunities that could benefit employees and their families. The session proved informative and helpful in creating awareness regarding banking services and government-supported programs.

ڊاڪٽر فتح محمد ولد ڪريم داد مري ٢٠ جون ١٩٧١ع تي ضلعي سانگهڙ ۾ ڀٽ ڀائٽي ويجهو ڳوٺ مير حسن مري (مولوي عبدالله مري) ۾ جنم ورتو.
ابتدائي ۽ ثانوي تعليم مڪمل ڪرڻ کانپوءِ سنڌ زرعي يونيورسٽيءَ ٽنڊي ڄام مان زرعي اقتصاديات ۾ ايم. اي ۽ ڊاڪٽريٽ(Ph.D) جي ڊگري حاصل ڪيائين.
٢٠١٣ع ۾ پاڪستان انسٽيٽيوٽ آف مئنيجمينٽ، ڪراچيءَ مان پراجيڪٽ مئنيجمينٽ سرٽيفڪيشن ڊپلوما ڪيائين. سندس ٢٤ کان مٿي تحقيقي مقالا ۽ ريسرچ پيپر مختلف ڏيھي ۽ پرڏيھي تحقيقي جرنلز ۾ ڇپيل آهن.
پاڪستان ۾ قدرتي وسيلن جي اقتصاديات ۽ پاڻي جي انتظام بابت، قومي ۽ بين الاقوامي ادارن سميت هارورڊ ۽ آڪسفرڊ يونيورسٽي جي سيمينارن ۾ شرڪت ڪري ليڪچر پڻ ڏنا آهن، سندس علمي ۽ تحقيقي خدمتن عيوض ڪيترائي ايوارڊ مليا آهن. پاڻ هائر ايجوڪيشن ڪميشن جا ميمبر ۽ بطور وقتي ايگزيڪٽو ڊائريڪٽر پڻ رهيا آهن.

سنڌ يونيورسٽي ڄامشورو ۾ اڳوڻي وائيس چانسلر مرحوم مظهرالحق صديقي صاحب جي شاندار خدمتن، علمي ڪارنامن ۽ يادگار ورثي کي ڀيٽا پيش ڪرڻ لاءِ سينيٽ هال ۾ ”مشن جو سفر: علامه آءِ آءِ قاضي کان مرحوم مظهرالحق صديقي تائين، عظيم شخصيتن کي ڀيٽا“ جي سري ھيٺ هڪ پروقار تقريب منعقد ڪئي وئي، جنھن جي صدارت وائيس چانسلر پروفيسر ڊاڪٽر فتح محمد مري صاحب ڪئي، جڏهن ته ھڪ نجي ٽي وي چينل جي صدر ۽ سي اي او سلطانه صديقي خاص مهمان طور شرڪت ڪئي.
تقريب ۾ ناميارن عالمن، اڳوڻن بيوروڪريٽن، وائيس چانسيلرن استادن، سول سوسائٽي جي نمائندن، شاگردن ۽ ميڊيا جي نمائندن وڏي انگ ۾ شرڪت ڪئي. ٽن مختلف دورن ۾ مجموعي طور 13 سالن تائين وائيس چانسلر طور سنڌ يونيورسٽي ۾ خدمتون سرانجام ڏيندڙ مرحوم مظھر الحق صديقي کي هڪ اهڙي انقلابي قيادت طور ياد ڪيو ويو، جنهن سنڌ يونيورسٽي جي ادارياتي، علمي ۽ انتظامي ڍانچي کي نئين سر ترتيب ڏنو. مقررن کين اهڙي شخصيت قرار ڏنو جنهن ميرٽ، نظم ضبط ۽ اداري جي وقار کي نئين بلندين تائين پهچايو ۽ سندن دور کي علامه آءِ آءِ قاضي کانپوءِ يونيورسٽي جي تاريخ جو اهم ترين دور قرار ڏنو. پنهنجي صدارتي خطاب ۾ وائيس چانسلر پروفيسر ڊاڪٽر فتح محمد مري مرحوم جي خاندان، دوستن ۽ ساٿين جي شرڪت تي ٿورا مڃيندي چيو ته مظهرالحق صديقي علمي قيادت جو روشن مثال ھو، جنھن اعليٰ تعليمي معيار قائم ڪيا. هن اعلان ڪيو ته يونيورسٽي جلد پنهنجي ترجمو بيورو کي ٻيهر فعال ڪندي ۽ مرحوم جي ڪتاب جو انگريزي ۽ اردو ۾ ترجمو پڻ ڇپرائيندي. هن وڌيڪ ٻڌايو ته سندن فرزند جي سهڪار سان مرحوم جي نالي سان هڪ اداري جي قيام لاءِ پڻ ڪوششون جاري آهن. ھن چيو ته مرحوم مظهرالحق صديقي استادن جي ڀرتيءَ ۾ شفافيت ۽ ميرٽ تي ٻڌل نظام متعارف ڪرايو، داخلا جي معياري طريقيڪار کي هٿي ڏني ۽ يونيورسٽي جي علمي ساک کي وڌيڪ مستحڪم بڻايو. سندس بصيرت افروز قيادت هيٺ نوان علمي شعبا قائم ٿيا، سائنسي تعليم کي فروغ مليو ۽ هائير ايجوڪيشن ڪميشن جي سهڪار سان اهم ترقياتي منصوبا مڪمل ٿيا. ھن چيو ته تعليمي معيار کي عالمي تقاضائن سان هم آهنگ ڪرڻ لاءِ ڪوالٽي انهانسمينٽ سيل جو قيام پڻ سندس اهم ڪارنامن مان هڪ آھي. ھن اڳوڻي وي سي جي خدمتن کي عورتن جي تعليم ۽ صنفي برابريءَ جي حوالي سان پڻ ساراهيو، جتي هنن شاگردياڻين ۽ عورت استادن لاءِ محفوظ ۽ سازگار تعليمي ماحول فراهم ڪرڻ لاءِ عملي قدم کنيا.
خاص مهمان سلطانه صديقي پنهنجي خطاب ۾ مرحوم کي ڀرپور ڀيٽا پيش ڪندي چيو ته هو سندن لاءِ نه صرف هڪ شفقت ڪندڙ ڀاءُ پر عورتن جي حقن جا مضبوط حامي ھو. هن چيو ته سندس حمايت سندس ڪاميابين ۾ اهم ڪردار ادا ڪيو. هن فخيثر امداد فائونڊيشن ذريعي ٻهراڙي جي ٻارن لاءِ مفت تعليم جي فراهميءَ کي مرحوم جو هڪ عظيم ڪارنامو قرار ڏنو. حيدرآباد جي ڪمشنر فياض عباسي تعليم کي قوم جي مستقبل جي تعمير جو بنياد قرار ڏيندي چيو ته تعليمي ادارن ۾ ڪردار سازي ۽ شموليت کي فروغ ڏيڻ انتهائي ضروري آهي، خاص طور تي شاگردياڻين لاءِ محفوظ ماحول جي فراهمي لازمي آهي.
ڊاڪٽر فهميده حسين صاحبه مظھر صاحب کي هڪ اصول پرست، بردبار ۽ تعليم دوست شخصيت قرار ڏنو، جڏهن ته محترمه مهتاب اڪبر راشدي سندن دانائي، ڪردار ۽ علامه آءِ آءِ قاضي جي فڪر سان وابستگي کي ساراهيو. ٻين مقررن مصطفىٰ سوهاڳ، ڊاڪٽر اي ڪيو مغل، ڊاڪٽر عبدالقدير راجپوت، ڊاڪٽر محمد صديق ڪلهوڙو ۽ ڊاڪٽر خليل کمڀاٽي مرحوم جي انتظامي صلاحيتن، انسان دوستي، رسائي ۽ شاگردن توڙي استادن جي ڀلائي لاءِ سندس خدمتن کي خراج تحسين پيش ڪيو.
ان موقعي تي مظھر الحق صديقي صاحب جي گهرواري آپا اختر جبين جي بي لوث ساٿ کي پڻ ڀيٽا پيش ڪئي وئي. جهانگير صديقي پنهنجي ڀاءُ کي بي مثال حوصلي ۽ اٽل اصولن وارو انسان قرار ڏيندي چيو ته مرحوم ڪڏهن به ميرٽ تي سوديبازي نه ڪئي ۽ ڪنهن به اهڙي هدايت کي قبول نه ڪيو، جيڪا انصاف ۽ برابريءَ جي خلاف هجي. هن کين هڪ فرمانبردار ۽ محبت ڪندڙ پٽ پڻ قرار ڏنو.
مظھر صاحب جي پٽ زهير صديقي چيو ته سندن والد کين عاجزي، همت ۽ ايمانداري جا قدر ورثي ۾ ڏنا. هن چيو ته مرحوم ٻهراڙي جي ترقيءَ بابت انتهائي فڪرمند ھو ۽ يقين رکندو ھو ته پاڪستان جي اصل ترقي ٻهراڙين جي خوشحالي سان وابسته آهي. ھن وڌيڪ ٻڌايو ته سندن والد ڇوڪرين جي تعليم جو زبردست حامي هئا ۽ سندس عقيدو ھو تہ عورتن کي بااختيار بڻائڻ کانسواءِ ڪا به قوم ترقي نٿي ڪري سگهي. سندس خواب جي تڪميل لاءِ سنڌ يونيورسٽي ۾ هيومن ريسورس ۽ اسڪل ڊولپمينٽ سينٽر قائم ڪرڻ جي رٿابندي ڪئي پئي وڃي. مرحوم جي وڏي نياڻي نازيه انعام پڻ پنهنجي والد بابت جذباتي خيالن جو اظهار ڪيو. تقريب جي شروعات ڊاڪٽر عرفانہ ملاح جي آجيان واري خطاب سان ٿي، جڏهن ته باضابطه مقالو پرو وائيس چانسلر ٺٽو ڪيمپس پروفيسر ڊاڪٽر مصباح بي بي پڙهي ٻڌايو.
آخر ۾ سنڌ يونيورسٽي جي رجسٽرار ساجد قيوم ميمڻ مھمانن جا ٿورا مڃيا.
تقريب دوران يونيورسٽي جي استادن پاران تيار ڪيل هڪ دستاويزي فلم پيش ڪئي وئي، جڏهن ته ڊائريڪٽر انسٽيٽيوٽ آف آرٽ اينڊ ڊيزائن جي ڊاڪٽر سعيد منگي پاران مرحوم جي دور جون ناياب تصويرون نمائش لاءِ پيش ڪيون ويون.
تقريب جي پڄاڻي ان عزم سان ٿي ته سنڌ يونيورسٽي مرحوم مظهرالحق صديقي صاحب جي فڪر، قدرن ۽ مشن کي جاري رکندي ۽ سندن روشن ورثي کي ايندڙ نسلن تائين منتقل ڪندي.
تقريب ۾ سنڌي ٻوليءَ ۾ لکيل ڪتاب "ووڙيم سڀ وٿاڻ، يار ڪارڻ جت جي" جو مهورت پڻ ڪيو ويو، جيڪو اعجاز قريشي ۽ ظهير عباس ٻرڙو ترتيب ڏنو آهي، ڄاڻايل ڪتاب ۾ مظھر الحق صديقي صاحب جي زندگي ۽ خدمتن کي ڀيٽا پيش ڪئي وئي آھي.

HEAT STROKE AWARENESS LECTURE REPORT

1. Objective:
The session aimed to educate students about heat stroke, its early signs,and symptoms prevention methods, and first aid measures, especially with rising summer temperatures in Sindh.

2. Key Points Covered by
Dr. Arjun Kumar

Understanding Heat Stroke
Heat stroke is a medical emergency caused by prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
Body temperature rises above 40°C or 104F and the body’s cooling system fails.
Can damage brain, heart, kidneys, and muscles if not treated quickly.

Warning Signs Explained
- High body temperature without sweating
- Hot, red, dry skin
- Severe headache, dizziness, confusion
- Nausea, vomiting, rapid pulse
- Loss of consciousness or seizures

Prevention Tips Shared
-Hydration: Drink 3 to 4L of water daily. Avoid tea, coffee, and soft drinks in peak heat.
-Timing: Avoid outdoor activities between 11 AM to 4 PM.
- Clothing: Wear light-colored, loose, cotton clothes. Use caps and umbrellas.
-Diet: Eat water-rich fruits like watermelon, cucumber. Avoid heavy, oily food (Samosas, pakora etc)
Environment: Stay in shaded or ventilated areas. Take cool showers when possible.
First Aid Steps Taught
1. Move the person to a cool, shaded place immediately.
2. Call 1122 or nearest hospital.
3. Remove excess clothing.
4. Cool the body with wet cloths, fan, or cold water sponge. Apply ice packs to neck, armpits, groin.
5. If conscious, give small sips of water. Do NOT give medicine without doctor’s advice.
3. Student Engagement
Dr. Arjun Kumar used simple examples and demonstrations. Students asked questions about sports practice in summer and dehydration. Practical first aid demo was given using a volunteer student.

4. Conclusion & Recommendations
The session ended with distribution of heat stroke awareness pamphlets by Govt Hospital Hosri.
Dr. Arjun Kumar advised school administration to:
- Ensure drinking water availability in all classrooms
- Reschedule outdoor periods to morning hours
- Keep first aid box with ORS packets in school
