Ginnani Festival Celebration at Govt Boys Model High School Aliabad, Hunza.

After the 5th period, all students gathered in the school hall, most dressed in traditional attire, to celebrate the local festival Ginnani. This centuries-old tradition in Central Hunza expresses gratitude for the year’s wheat and barley harvest, ensuring food security until the next season.

Highlights of the Event:
- Speech on Ginnani’s history by Mr. Sadaqat Shah (Class 10).
- Traditional dances led by the principal, SMC members, teachers (Musa Ullah, shamsuddin, Sher Azam, GB, Haji Baig, Kamal), and students (Classes 2, 3, 4, 7).
- Cultural performances:
- Shina song by Class 5.
- Broushaski song by Mr. Aziz & Mr. Azhan (Class 7).
- English speech on Ginnani by Ms. Minsa (Class 5).
- Broushaski poetry by Sir Sher Azam.
- Western dance by support staff Amin Khan.
- Special performances by Balti and Diamer region students.
- Traditional dish (Diltar with Burumhanki) served to all.
finale Teachers and students danced together, led by Imkan Ullah Baig & Ismail Khan.

The event concluded with a food stall offering traditional dishes for guests, teachers, and students.

Youm-e-Tashakkur
The event was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The hall was packed with students and teachers who honored the Pakistan Air Force and defense institutions through speeches and national songs. Students expressed their unwavering support for Pakistan’s armed forces, while Headmaster Mir Baz Khan praised their role in defending the nation against recent Indian aggression and external threats. The gathering reflected deep patriotism and gratitude toward the country’s defenders.

A rally has been recorded against India’s unilateral disengagement from the Indus Waters Treaty.

The speeches and slogans reflect India’s oppression in Kashmir and its ill intentions toward Pakistan as an independent state since its independence in 1947.

The speeches have reaffirmed unwavering support for our defense institutions and policymakers.
