Heartiest congratulations to Jawad Karim, son of Ghulam Karim from Sarteez, Gojal Hunza, on his remarkable achievement of graduating in Remote Sensing (RS) & Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the prestigious Institute of Space Technology (IST), Islamabad.

Alongside his academic success, Jawad has gained valuable professional experience as a GIS Analyst with the Arbob Tech Team in the CDRS Sarteez Clean Drinking Water Project, where he played a vital role in GIS mapping and elevation planning.

He is now advancing his career with ECIL as an Assistant GIS Analyst, showcasing his passion and commitment to applying geospatial technologies for innovative and impactful solutions.

Mr. Zakir Nazry (Team Captain)
Our skipper, Mr. Zakir, is the young and talented captain of Sonehri Sarteez Sports Club. A true all-rounder, he leads as a fast bowler and middle-order batsman. Beyond cricket, he represents the club in various sports. Off the field, Zakir works professionally as a freelance graphic designer.

Mr. Asif Rumi (Former Captain & Pioneer Player)
An exceptional all-rounder and stylish opening batsman, Asif Rumi bowls fiery spells in the middle overs and is an athletic fielder. For the past three years, he led the club with dedication and passion, guiding the team to new heights. A natural leader, excellent sportsman, and one of the pioneer players of the club, his contributions go far beyond cricket as he actively supports all club activities. Professionally, he is a Full Stack Developer.

Mr. Raiz (Pioneer Player & Team Coach)
From Sarteez, Gojal Hunza, Mr. Raiz is an aggressive top-order batsman and an experienced fast bowler. He is also the Kamidiyah of Sarteez Jamat Khana. A hardworking and supportive sportsman, he is a pioneer player of Sonehri Sarteez Sports Club and still brings fresh energy and passion to the team. Professionally, he runs his own business.

Mr. Yamin Rumi (Pioneer Player)
A skilled left-handed top-order batsman and outstanding fielder, Yamin Rumi is one of the pioneer players of the club. He played a vital role in establishing the team and continues to mentor young talent. Professionally, he is a civil engineer in the government sector.

Mr. Mohsin Hassan Khan (Pioneer Player)
A pioneer player, former chairman, and manager of the club, Mohsin is a reliable wicketkeeper and lower-middle-order batsman. Known for his consistency and mentorship, he has been a steady pillar of the team since its early days. In his professional life, he works as an importer and exporter.

Mr. Shuja (Pioneer Player)
A powerful opening batsman and handy spin bowler, Mr. Shuja has been a consistent performer since the very beginning of the club. Alongside cricket, he is deeply involved in community service and works in the Forestry Department (Government Sector).

Mr. Atif Rumi (Young Player)
A promising fast bowler, Atif Rumi, made his debut at Passu Ground last year. Known for his pace and passion, he has quickly become an asset to the club. Currently a student, he also participates in multiple sports.

Mr. Awais Arbab (Young Player)
Another energetic young talent, Awais Arbab, also debuted at Passu Ground last year. With his fiery fast bowling and growing batting potential, he continues to shine. He is a student and actively engages in various sports.

Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Arbab (Young Player)
Joining the club two years ago, Ghulam Muhammad Arbab is a talented left-arm spinner who adds depth to the bowling lineup. A capable batsman as well, he is known for rotating the strike and holding the innings together. A student by profession, he also excels in multiple sports.

Third Match UPDATE
Rasht Baadsha won the toss and chose to bat first, stepping onto the pitch with confidence to set the tone of the game.

Sarteez won a very close game against Rasht Baadsha by 1 wicket in the 3rd match of the first day of the All Gojal Hardball Cricket Tournament, Rasht Chipurson 2025.

It was a nail-biting finish. Sarteez needed 4 runs in the last over with only one wicket left. The last two batsmen stayed calm and scored the winning runs, giving their team the victory.

The captain of Sarteez, Ghulam Zakir Ñäzrŷ , praised his team for fighting till the end.
