An Inter-House English and Urdu Speech Competition was organized on 31st January 2026.
*Objectives of the Competition*
1) To enhance students’ public speaking and rhetorical skills
2) To promote critical and analytical thinking on contemporary social issues
3)To foster linguistic fluency in both English and Urdu
4) To encourage confidence, ethical awareness, and intellectual discourse
*Junior Section*
In the English category, junior participants presented speeches on “Technology has made people isolated,” analyzing the social and emotional consequences of excessive technological reliance.
In the Urdu category, juniors spoke on “آرٹ اور کھیل نصاب کا حصہ ہونا چاہیے”, highlighting the significance of arts and sports in ensuring holistic personality development.
*Senior Section*
For the English segment, senior students addressed the topic “Is it more important to learn from history or focus on innovating for the future?”, demonstrating intellectual depth by synthesizing historical understanding with forward-looking innovation.
In the Urdu segment, seniors delivered compelling speeches on “سوشل میڈیا: علم یا فتنہ؟”, critically examining the dualistic role of social media as a source of knowledge and a potential societal challenge.
