Lahore Grammar School Gujrat LGS Gujrat, part of the Defence Cluster led by Dr. Neelam Hussain, offers education from Pre-school to University. The system was established, in January 1979.

With O/A Levels and International Degree Programs, we nurture critical thinkers, leaders, and lifelong learners in a vibrant environment. Lahore Grammar School (abbreviated as LGS) is a group of private fee-paying group of academic institutions based in city of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The institution provides education to both boys and girls until A Level. It has extended its network to cater to the needs of the middle income group in its Landmark Schools. The LGS College for Women offers a degree programme in arts and sciences as well as a bachelors in computers. LGS has branches in Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Wah Cantt. It offers quality education to the low income group through the Lahore Education Society School, entirely supported and funded by LGS. LGS provides preschool education, primary education, secondary education and preparation for international General Certificate of Education (GCE). Some branches also provide preparation for local Secondary School Certificate (SSC)

💙🌊 Blue Day Celebration 🌊💙

Our little stars felt like they were actually inside the ocean. 🌊✨ They enjoyed various fun-filled activities, learned about amazing sea creatures like the octopus, starfish and seahorse 🐙⭐🐴, and expressed their creativity with blue colour painting 🎨💙. They also shared what they love most about sea animals 🐳💬. They learned that blue is a cool and calm colour 💧🧊 and everyone said it looks so cool! 😍💙 They absolutely loved everything in our blue theme! 💙🎉

Our little stars explorers celebrated Green Colour Day with a roarsome dino adventure 💚🦖. Dressed in lovely green outfits , they stepped into a jungle of green balloons , leaves 🍃 and cute dinosaurs 🦕. They learned to recognize and name the color green, link it with nature around them like leaves, trees 🌳, and also had so much fun with dino toys, art, and painting activities 🎨. Through creative play and exploration, they built color recognition, vocabulary, fine motor skills, and love for nature 🌱 while sharing toys and smiling together 😊.✨

Our little stars celebrated Yellow Colour Day with bright smiles and sunny cheer 💛☀️. Dressed in cheerful yellow outfits , they explored the happy world of yellow all around them 🍌🌻. Through fun decorations, balloons , and themed activities, they learned to identify and name the color yellow, differentiate it from other colors, and connect it with familiar yellow objects in everyday life 🍋🐥🌽. This joyful celebration also helped build their color recognition, vocabulary, observation skills, and confidence as they participated, shared, and laughed together 😊✨.

🍎🔥 Science Came Alive in Grade V IP! 🔬✨

Our Grade V IP learners explored Physical and Chemical Changes through a fun hands-on activity! 🍌🍎 They brought fruits to represent physical changes and fried and cooked foods to represent chemical changes. Each learner proudly presented their object and explained which group it belonged to.

Mindfulness Week – Grade III & V✨🪩
As part of Mindfulness Week, students of Grades III and V participated in a fun and competitive mindfulness activity. Working in teams, students carefully moved LEGO pieces along a strip of tape, focusing on patience, concentration, balance, and coordination.
The activity encouraged students to slow down, stay present in the moment, and work mindfully while managing the excitement of a competition. It was an engaging way to highlight how mindfulness helps us focus, remain calm, and make thoughtful decisions.

Unit of Inquiry - Who We Are 🌈
Topic: My Family - Our Traditions 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Today our little stars ⭐ explored the theme "Who We Are." Students learned that every family is unique and special. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

They discussed how every family has different traditions - how we celebrate birthdays differently 🎂, eat different foods like 🍕 pizza, 🍔 burger, 🍝 pasta, wear different clothes like 👗 frocks, 👖 pants, 👚 skirts, and have different likes and dislikes.

To reflect their understanding, students made a beautiful "My Family Traditions" booklet 📒 where they illustrated their own family traditions.

In this touch centre activity our little learners explored the world through their sense of touch and discovered how different things feel 🌿✨ They got to feel smooth soft leaves 🍃, bumpy crinkled foil, rough and grainy texture, hard shapes 🔺 and soft fluffy pom poms 🧶☁️, which helped them understand and compare textures like smooth, bumpy, rough, hard and soft. Through touching and feeling each material they built their sensory awareness 🤲, improved their vocabulary for describing textures 🗣️, and developed their observation and sorting skills 👀. It was a fun hands-on experience that made learning about touch exciting and meaningful for them 💛🌈
