In today’s world, parents often let their kids watch stories instead of telling them stories. But hearing a story directly from parents activates a child’s imagination, enhances brain development, and deepens the parent-child bond in ways that screens simply cannot.

In this episode, I urge parents to bring back the tradition of storytelling and share a beautiful story of a butterfly’s journey from a cocoon. 🦋

Like any good parent, you want the best for your children, so you send them to the best school you can find, hoping that after a few years, they will emerge as brilliant, learned, respectful, and successful individuals.

But

Because most schools have turned into money-making machines, character development is no longer a priority, and as a result of the school administration's attitude, young students are becoming prey to drug dealers.

The recent incident at one of Lahore's elite schools is just one of many examples we see on a daily basis.

These incidents occur because the primary focus of these schools is on merely covering the course materials, whereas a school should be a place where young minds are educated holistically.

Unfortunately, these schools do not prioritize character development.
And we are all aware that unless these students develop strong character, they will continue to stumble throughout their lives.

I wonder if parents do not ask these schools what their values are. Without strong and well-defined values, no individual or society can survive, let alone thrive.

The Three Types of Values Students Should Explore at Schools
1. Character Values
Character values are the universal values that you need to exist as a good human being.

2. Work Values
Work values are values that help a person find what they want in a job and give them job satisfaction.

3. Personal Values
They are the guiding principles of a person's life. Examples of personal values are family life, social life, personal health, and appearance.
