A few glimpses from our Gymkhana Mini Trip— where learning went beyond the Therapy room. Gujrat Gymkhana

From interacting with others and building confidence, to learning basic manners, making choices, placing an order and experiencing the world around them — every little moment was a step towards greater Tomorrow.

Because children don’t only learn by sitting at a table…
sometimes, the best learning happens out in the real world.

🌈 Beyond Therapy — Into the Real World!

Our little LEAP ND stars stepped outside their usual routine and enjoyed their first mini trip to Gymkhana— a day filled with fun, learning, confidence, and new experiences. ✨

The visit was planned to help our children develop confidence, social interaction, communication, independence, adaptability, and participation in real-world settings.

We were warmly welcomed by Secretary Gymkhana Mr. Khurram Altaf Bhatti, who presented gifts to the children, along with Former Secretary Mr. Rukhsar Ahmed Mellu and Mr. Syed Raza Mehdi, Deputy Director, University of Gujrat.

Our children had a wonderful time at
Kids Land, where they played, explored, interacted, and enjoyed themselves.

🍽️ During lunch, they were encouraged to place their own orders, giving them a meaningful opportunity to practice functional communication and independence.

Every smile, every interaction, and every little step towards independence matters.

Because real progress is not limited to the therapy room — it happens when children get the opportunity to explore, participate, and experience the world around them.

Gymkhana also highly appreciated the efforts of LEAP ND in creating meaningful opportunities, support, and inclusive experiences for neurodivergent children.

A heartfelt thank you to Gymkhana Gujrat Gymkhana for the warm welcome, thoughtful gifts, and creating such a welcoming and inclusive experience for our children.
