فیڈرل بورڈ آف انٹرمیڈیٹ اینڈ سیکنڈری ایجوکیشن (FBISE) نے بدھ کے روز اسلام آباد میں منعقدہ ایک تقریب میں سیکنڈری اسکول سرٹیفکیٹ (SSC) پارٹ ون اور پارٹ ٹو کے پہلے سالانہ امتحان 2026 کے نتائج کا اعلان کیا۔

وفاقی وزیر برائے تعلیم و پیشہ ورانہ تربیت ڈاکٹر خالد مقبول صدیقی نے بٹن دبا کر باضابطہ طور پر نتائج کا اعلان کیا۔

استقبالیہ خطاب کے دوران، ایف بی آئی ایس ای کے چیئرمین پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اکرام علی ملک نے شرکاء کو خوش آمدید کہا اور انہیں امتحانات کے انعقاد اور بورڈ کی کارکردگی کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا۔

چیئرمین کے مطابق، اس سال ایس ایس سی پارٹ ون اور پارٹ ٹو کے سالانہ امتحانات میں کل 292,831 امیدوار شریک ہوئے۔ امتحانات کے لیے کل 1,006 امتحانی مراکز قائم کیے گئے تھے، جبکہ 2,012 نگران عملہ اور 6,996 انویجیلٹرز (نگرانِ امتحان) تعینات کیے گئے تھے۔

چیئرمین نے بتایا کہ پرچوں کی جانچ کے لیے 10,706 اساتذہ نے درخواستیں دی تھیں، جبکہ جوابی کاپیوں کی جانچ پڑتال کے لیے 4,855 ممتحنین (ایگزامنرز) کی خدمات حاصل کی گئیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پرچوں کی جانچ کے لیے پہلی بار مصنوعی ذہانت (AI) کا استعمال کیا گیا۔

انہوں نے مزید بتایا کہ امتحانات کے دوران نقل یا غیر منصفانہ ذرائع کے استعمال (unfair means) کے 86 کیسز رپورٹ ہوئے۔

بورڈ کی جانب سے جاری کردہ نتائج کے مطابق، ایس ایس سی پارٹ ون میں کامیابی کا مجموعی تناسب 59.77 فیصد رہا، جہاں رجسٹرڈ 150,077 امیدواروں میں سے 88,646 امیدوار کامیاب ہوئے۔ ایس ایس سی پارٹ ٹو میں، رجسٹرڈ 141,653 امیدواروں میں سے 128,070 امیدوار کامیاب قرار پائے، جس سے کامیابی کا مجموعی تناسب 91.33 فیصد ریکارڈ کیا گیا۔

سائنس گروپ میں، عفیرہ اعجاز نے 1,089 نمبروں کے ساتھ پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کی، جبکہ آمنہ نعمان 1,088 نمبروں کے ساتھ دوسرے اور حذیفہ حیدر 1,086 نمبروں کے ساتھ تیسرے نمبر پر رہے۔ ہیومینٹیز گروپ میں فاطمہ زہرا نے 1,037 نمبروں کے ساتھ پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ محمد معاذ اور منال زاہد نے 1,031، 1,031 نمبروں کے ساتھ مشترکہ طور پر دوسری پوزیشن حاصل کی، جبکہ انیسہ نثار نے 1,023 نمبروں کے ساتھ تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔

Board chairman says artificial intelligence (AI) use for marking for the first time

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Wednesday announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-I and Part-II First Annual Examination 2026 at a ceremony in Islamabad.

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui formally announced the results by pressing the button.

Delivering the welcome address, FBISE Chairman Prof Dr Ikram Ali Malik welcomed the participants and briefed them on the conduct of the examinations and the Board's performance.

According to the chairman, a total of 292,831 candidates appeared in the SSC Part-I and Part-II annual examinations this year. A total of 1,006 examination centres were established for the examinations, while 2,012 supervisory staff and 6,996 invigilators were deployed.

The chairman said 10,706 teachers had applied for paper marking, while the services of 4,855 examiners were engaged for the checking of answer scripts. He said artificial intelligence (AI) was used for marking for the first time.

He further said that 86 unfair means cases were reported during the examinations.

According to the results announced by the Board, the overall pass percentage stood at 59.77 per cent in SSC Part-I, where 88,646 of the 150,077 enrolled candidates passed. In SSC Part-II, 128,070 of the 141,653 enrolled candidates were declared successful, recording an overall pass percentage of 91.33 per cent.

In the Science Group, Afeera Ijaz secured first position with 1,089 marks, followed by Amna Nauman with 1,088 marks in second place and Huzaifa Haider with 1,086 marks in third place.

In the Humanities Group, Fatima Zahra secured first position with 1,037 marks. Muhammad Maaz and Manaal Zahid jointly secured second position with 1,031 marks each, while Aneesa Nisar obtained third position with 1,023 marks
