Historic Cash Award Enhancement – Annual Examinations 2026

In a landmark initiative to recognize and encourage academic excellence, BISE Gujranwala has enhanced the cash awards for honoring the brightest mind of the Punjab
Of Annual Examinations 2026.

Under the vision of Honourable Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the initiative of Honourable Minister for School Education & Higher Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat, the cash reward for position holders has been raised and fixed at Rs. 100,000/-.

Matric (10th) Position Holders 2026: Rs. 100,000/-
Inter (12th) Position Holders 2026: Rs. 100,000/-

Extending this vision further, Engr. Dr. Aqsa Shabbir, Chairperson, BISE Gujranwala, has expanded this enhanced reward package to recognise and appreciate HSSC position holders as well.

BISE GUJRANWALA — A HISTORIC MILESTONE
For the first time in its 44-year history, the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Gujranwala is organizing the HSSC First Annual Examination 2026 Result Ceremony in Narowal District.

Engr. Dr. Aqsa Shabbir, Chairperson, BISE Gujranwala, visited the marking centre established in the Marking Hall of BISE Gujranwala. During the visit, she reviewed the ongoing marking process and inspected the arrangements made at the centre.

302nd meeting of Board of Governors of BISE, Gujranwala was held under the chairpersonship of Engr. Dr. Aqsa Shabbir, Chairperson, BISE Gujranwala. The meeting provided a productive forum for reviewing important examination-related and administrative matters, with focused deliberations aimed at further improving Board operations, strengthening examination processes, and enhancing facilitation for students and stakeholders. Prof. Rashid Ahmed Bhatti, Secretary Board, and all Board members participated in the meeting.

A meeting of the Board’s Sports Committees, BISE Gujranwala, for Session 2026–27 was held under the chairpersonship of Engr. Dr. Aqsa Shabbir, Chairperson, BISE Gujranwala. The meeting focused on the promotion and effective organisation of sports activities, including finalisation of dates and venues for Inter-Collegiate and Inter-District Schools Tournaments for Boys and Girls across the Gujranwala Division.

The Secretary Board, Prof. Rashid Ahmad Bhatti, Controller of Examinations Prof. Nadeem Ahmad, RCO, Atif Imdad Tarar, Heads of Institutions, Director Sports and other concerned officers and officials participated in the meeting.

Dr. Aqsa Shabbir, Chairperson, BISE Gujranwala, chaired a meeting with the Secretary Board, Controller of Examinations, and Assistant Controller (Record & Verification) to streamline the process for issuance of duplicate result cards and certificates and further facilitate students through efficient and timely service delivery.
