The annual event of GMC Islamic Society, *๐๐€๐˜๐˜๐ˆ๐๐€๐‡ - ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‚๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐„๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž* held on Wednesday, 23rd of Sep-26, at Auditorium, GMCTH. The program was attended by a large number of students.

The Chief Guest of the event was *๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐ˆ๐ช๐›๐š๐ฅ ๐Š๐ก๐š๐ง* (Vice Chancellor, Shifa University Islamabad), who delivered a keynote address on the topic of "Concept of Muslim Ummah, Relating with Medical Students"
The second guest speaker was *๐Œ๐ซ. ๐€๐ค๐ก๐ฒ๐š๐ซ ๐€๐ก๐ฆ๐ž๐* (CEO, Quran Club), who addressed the students on his topic of Bayyinah.

The Staff President of the Society, *๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐ฎ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐š๐ซ ๐‘๐š๐ฌ๐จ๐จ๐ฅ* welcomed the distinguished guests. Delegates of PIMA central Punjab also participated in the event.

He examined the patients and instructed the duty doctors for the appropriate management of the patients.

He also checked the availability of the medicines, attendance of the doctors and the nurses and instructed to carry out the needful corrective measures.

He took a note of non-utilization of three important rooms in the OPD block. He instructed the Medical Superintendent to make them functional including the EPI center and the control room at the earliest.

During his interaction with the faculty, he instructed to develop SOPs for the proper management of the patients.

A Workshop on โ€œComprehensive Thalassemia Care" arranged by Pediatric Department of GMCTH under guidance of Principal Professor Muhammad Haroon Hamid was conducted on September 21st in Pediatric Department GMCTH .

It was a highly informative, engaging, and clinically oriented academic session. It was an excellent opportunity for participants to enhance their clinical knowledge, decision-making skills, and understanding of contemporary thalassemia management, ultimately contributing to improved patient care and outcomes.
