We organized | Honoring Arfa Kareem- who was a Tech Hero!
Moizzah Tariq Gilani (Marketing & PR Executive) welcomed the guests and explained how the event was about remembering Arfa's achievements and finding a way forward to her dreams
Ayesha Mubashir (Asst. Program Manager) talked about the various initiatives that run under and how the sessions are structured towards inspiring the youth of Pakistan!
The event revolved around Arfa's dream of providing free education to underprivileged children of Pakistan as education is the only way to break the cycle of poverty in a country.
The guest speakers (Arfa's mother, siblings, teachers and friends) talked about her enthusiasm for bringing a positive change in the country!
Dr.Umar Saif delivered the ending note lauding Arfa's achievements. He said,
"Arfa Karim was a tech hero who has left such a legacy that she is a source of inspiration for the youth of our country"
Students were given a round of the spaces of the Entrepreneurship Wing ( , Plan9 - PITB's Tech Incubator, PlanX, Herself and Chief Minister's e-Rozgaar Program.) of the building that was named after Arfa Karim (Arfa Software Technology Park)
