Hello Everyone,

My name is Zeeshan Mujeeb. I am a Senior majoring in Economics at Lahore University of Management Sciences.

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in collaboration with the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) has launched National Financial Literacy Program for Youth(NFLP-Y).

Aim: The basic aim of the program is to impart essential financial education to Pakistani youth and school going children for a strengthening of their money management skills and understanding of financial matters.

About the Game: State bank of Pakistan launched ‘PomPak — Learn to Earn’, Pakistan’s first e-learning financial literacy game to impart free of cost financial education to Pakistani children, adolescents, and youth.

Currently, I am working as a Student Brand Ambassador under an internship program of NFLP-Y. My goal is to train youth through this financial literacy game.

At the end of the game:
You can master the essentials of saving, budgeting, borrowing, and banking, among many other topics of Finance and Economics.
You will get a prestigious certificate of financial literacy, jointly issued by the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), a subsidiary of the SBP; and the National Financial Literacy Program for Youth (NFLP-Y), a project of the State Bank of Pakistan.

Note: ANYONE can play this game. So, if you don't have prior knowledge about Economics and Finance then DON'T WORRY, it is an easy and fun game. You will also get a flavor of Economics and Finance.

We are happy to announce that Shahid Iqbal, our alumnus of 2019, has been accepted by the prestigious Aga Khan University Karachi for their MBBS program.
The whole AKHSSG family congratulates you and your family for this amazing achievement.

The caretaker Chief Minister DIG (Retd) Mir Afzal Khan accompanied by his cabinet visited Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Gilgit. He was received by Principal Zafar Iqbal and briefed about the historical background and educational activities of the school. The Chief Minister and his Cabinet visited the classrooms and asked the students questions about teaching and learning. Addressing the students, the Chief Minister said that you are one of the lucky few students who have got the opportunity to study in an institution like Aga Khan Higher Secondary School. The students complained to the Chief Minister about the lack of scholarships and incentives at the government level.
The Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs. 200,000 for the school.
Among the ministers, Education Minister Abdul Jahan, Finance Minister, Health Minister Samina Baig and others spoke to the students.

Organization for Educational Change (OEC) is pleased to be open for submissions for its 5th issue of annual educational magazine. We are especially interested in supporting diverse and emerging voices from Gilgit Baltistan and Chitral. Although this year's edition will focus on mental health but all genres and subjects are welcomed.
