Beyond books and lectures, our Grade 12 college study tour to Attabad Lake offered a powerful learning experience. Surrounded by mountains that tell the story of a major natural disaster, students observed firsthand how landslides can transform landscapes, cause soil erosion, disrupt ecosystems, and permanently affect human lives and settlements. Discussions on climate change, environmental vulnerability, and human adaptation became more meaningful as students connected theory with reality. Such study tours are truly fruitful, as they deepen understanding, build awareness, and inspire responsible thinking about our environment and future.🖤
