Taking a glimpse into the visit of labs in Baltistan region by the official team from . The team visited several schools around the region and conducted thorough assessments of the HiTechLMS Labs.

The HiTechLMS Labs is an initiative between the Department of Education and the Government of GB that supports the integration of technology into the curriculum, providing digital literacy to the students. Special gratitude to the Chief Secretary GB for supporting this initiative and recognizing the importance of innovative education.

Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan Mr. Moyuddin Ahmed Wani Revolutionizes Access to Knowledge with Digital Libraries

Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan - June 21, 2023 - GBeeTechive, in collaboration with The Asia Foundation Pakistan, is proud to announce the successful implementation of Digital Libraries in the Gilgit Baltistan region. This groundbreaking initiative aims to democratize access to knowledge and empower government schools of Gilgit Baltistan through the digitalization of educational resources. The implantation partners GBeeTechive would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation to Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan, The Asia Foundation Pakistan and Assistant Commissioner, Mr. Talha Khan, District Rondu, for their unwavering support and dedication to this transformative project.

The Digital Libraries project, sponsored by The Asia Foundation Pakistan and implemented by GBeeTechive, aims to bridge the knowledge gap prevalent in remote areas of Gilgit Baltistan. With the introduction of state-of-the-art technologies, the initiative offers an immersive and interactive learning experience for students, researchers, and community members alike.

Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan recognized the importance of embracing digital technology to enhance education and unlock the potential of the region's youth. His visionary leadership has been instrumental in bringing this initiative to fruition. By providing access to a vast collection of educational resources, including e-books, journals, research papers, video and audiovisual content, the Digital Libraries project has laid the foundation for a brighter future for the students of Gilgit Baltistan.

Assistant Commissioner, Mr. Talha Khan, from District Rondu, has played a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of the Digital Libraries project in his district. Under his guidance, GBeeTechive and its dedicated team have seamlessly integrated technology into the educational landscape of Rondu, empowering students and teachers with cutting-edge tools for learning and research. Mr. Talha Khan's commitment to educational development has truly been a driving force behind the project's achievements.

Speaking about the initiative, the COO of GBeeTechive, Mr. Sajjad Hyder, expressed his gratitude, stating, "We are honored to work alongside The Asia Foundation Pakistan and extend our heartfelt appreciation to Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan and Assistant Commissioner, Mr. Talha Khan. Their support and commitment have been instrumental in realizing the potential of the Digital Libraries project. Speaking about the offline module, Mr. Sajjad Hyder said “GBeeTechive is a proud partner in Smart Schools Project, another flagship initiative of Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan, where we have converted 37 traditional schools into smart schools. This time the aim was to introduce the Smart School Plus concept. The accessibility of the content for digital libraries as well as regular curriculum via LMS is given offline. A user-friendly database application is built and deployed onsite servers for teachers and students to manage the content, the onsite servers are connected via cloud drives for modern literature to add more knowledge to their database”

HiTechLMSLab initiative in Government Boys High School Bubur, Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan is a part of a collaboration between the Department of Education and the Government of GB.
