AFAQ Follow-Up Meeting on SLO-Based Teaching, Assessment & Evaluation
A comprehensive follow-up meeting was held at the AFAQ Skardu Office to review last year’s training on SLO-Based Teaching, Assessment & Evaluation and to assess its impact on students’ academic performance.

The meeting was attended by the Director of Education Baltistan, Deputy Director Education Skardu, Deputy Director Education (Female), and other distinguished participants.

Dr. Amir Zeb, Country Director Training; Hidayat Khan, Regional Head; Welyat Khan, Zonal Manager; Muhammad Raza, Area Manager; and Lead Trainer Asif Ali welcomed all participants. The discussion focused on the impact of the training on students’ learning activities, learning outcomes, and the effective implementation of assessment and evaluation practices.

Participants shared their valuable experiences, observations, and feedback regarding the practical implementation of SLO-based teaching and assessment after the training.

The meeting emphasized strengthening the positive changes resulting from teachers’ professional development and promoting quality, student-centered, and SLO-based teaching and assessment practices to improve students’ learning outcomes.

It was further agreed to organize a professional training program for teachers in October 2026 to further strengthen these practices.
