Pakistan Navy Awareness & Motivation Session for SALU Students
Shah Abdul Latif University, Ghotki Campus

Shah Abdul Latif University, Ghotki Campus, successfully organized an awareness and motivation session titled “Career Opportunities in Pakistan Navy: Leadership, Service and Professional Growth”* at the Smart Classroom for the students of the campus. The session was arranged by the *Student Affairs Department, SALU Ghotki Campus, with the objective of creating awareness among students regarding career opportunities and induction procedures in the *Pakistan Navy SSC Course 2026-B*.

The distinguished team from the *Pakistan Navy Recruitment and Selection Centre (PNR&SC), Sukkur* visited the campus and interacted with students in an informative and motivational environment. The session featured the following honorable speakers:

* Yasir Kamran Khawaja – Lieutenant Commander, Pakistan Navy Officer Incharge
* Muhammad Mazhar Saleem – Lieutenant PN (Psychologist Officer)

The program commenced with a warm welcome by Khuda Dino Gopang, Focal Person , Student Affairs, who appreciated the visit of the Pakistan Navy team and highlighted the importance of such awareness initiatives for students’ professional development.

During the session, the guest speakers shared valuable insights regarding induction procedures, eligibility criteria, leadership qualities, training opportunities, and professional growth within the Pakistan Navy. Students were highly inspired by the informative presentations and actively participated in the interactive discussion and question-answer session.

The esteemed Pro VC, Prof. Dr. Syed Maqsood Zia, warmly greeted Yasir Kamran Khawaja and appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Navy team for conducting such an inspiring and career-oriented session for the students of the university.

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Imran Ahmed Shah Head of Department, Business Administration and Dr. Allah Bux Lakhan HOD, Complimentary courses presented traditional gifts of Sindh to the honourable guests as a token of respect and gratitude. Special thanks were extended to the visiting officers for their valuable time, guidance, and motivational interaction with the students.

The session concluded with a group photograph and a vote of thanks. Overall, the event proved highly informative, motivational, and beneficial for students aspiring to serve the nation through a professional career in the Pakistan Navy.

Attention: All Universities / Degree Awarding Institutions (DAIs)!

In continuation of directives issued by HEC dated March 10, 2026, regarding the implementation of austerity and fuel conservation measures, all Universities and DAIs may resume physical classes from April 1, 2026.

All institutions are required to ensure full compliance.
