Activity: Heat Absorption

Today students performed a balloon experiment over a candle. The air-filled balloon burst instantly, but the water-filled balloon did not. Students practically observed that water absorbs heat and prevents bursting. An amazing hands-on science learning!

‎Today class 6 performed the activity we designed in our teacher hub session, students practically demonstrated geometry through a hands-on activity! Using low-cost materials like ice-cream sticks, straws and pens, students made square, triangle and rectangle shapes. Through art, they created a beautiful house using triangle for roof, rectangle for door and square for windows. They also measured the angles practically. Learning by doing!

‎Today our Class 6 students explored that "Light always travels in a straight line."
‎
‎In a dark room, they used a laser torch, magnifying glass and mirror. They observed the straight red beam, how a lens merges light at a focal point, and how a mirror diverts and reflects it.
‎
‎Students learned rectilinear propagation, convergence, divergence and reflection practically. It was a highly engaging and informative hands-on activity.
