Why does ice not melt readily when salt is sprinkled over it?

When salt is sprinkled over ice, some of it dissolves. As dissolution of the salt is accompanied by absorption oh heat. The temperature of the system falls below 0 degree Celsius. Hence, ice does not melt readily.

The Sun appears red at sunset and sunrise. Why?

The sun appears red at the time of sunset and sunrise due to the scattering of light by small particles of dust or smoke near the surface of the earth. The light travels relatively without hindrance that is why the sun appears red at the time of sunset and sunrise.

When the current passes through the inner wire of the electric bulb, it gets very hot and gives light, but this does not happen when the current passes through the normal wire.

The inner wire of the electric bulb is made of a metal whose resistance is high, such as tungsten metal, so during the flow of electricity, the electrons pass through the wire slowly due to the resistance, and as a result, the wire of the bulb It gets very hot and turns whitish in color and starts emitting light, but it doesn't because of low impedance in normal wire.
