Difference Between HSE Officer and Safety Officer:

🔶 Who is a Safety Officer?

A Safety Officer focuses mainly on workplace safety and accident prevention at site.

Main duties:

Identify hazards
Ensure PPE usage
Monitor unsafe acts & conditions
Conduct toolbox talks
Stop unsafe work

👉 Focus: People & safety rules

🔶 Who is an HSE Officer?

An HSE Officer handles Health, Safety, and Environment together.

Main duties:

Worker health monitoring
Safety management
Environmental protection
Waste management & pollution control
Legal compliance

👉 Focus: People + Environment
