The participation of Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) at the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM 2026) marks a valuable milestone in the University’s continued journey toward greater international academic engagement.

Representing Pakistan and GCWUF, Prof. Dr. Saima Akram ( Head of Department of Mathematics, GCWUF) Coordinator Faculty of Computing & Numerical Sciences (FCNS) participated in lectures, academic discussions, research interactions, and international networking opportunities, gaining valuable exposure to the latest developments and global perspectives in mathematics and related fields.

The experience also provided opportunities to connect with researchers and academics from diverse backgrounds and to explore possibilities for future research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and international academic engagement.
