📖 Why are the 9th and 10th of Muharram special?
The 10th of Muharram, known as Ashura , holds great historical and spiritual importance. It was the day when Allah saved Musa (Moses) عليه السلام and his people from Pharaoh. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to fast on this day and advised fasting a day before or after it to distinguish from the Jews.
🌙 9 اور 10 محرم کی اہمیت کیا ہے؟
یوم عاشورہ یعنی 10 محرم کا دن تاریخی لحاظ سے بہت اہم ہے۔ یہ وہ دن ہے جب اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام اور ان کی قوم کو فرعون سے نجات دی۔ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے اس دن روزہ رکھا اور اس کے ساتھ ایک دن کا اضافہ کرنے کی بھی تلقین فرمائی تاکہ یہودیوں سے مشابہت نہ ہو۔
