๐ŸŒโœจ World Soil Day Celebrations at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad ๐ŸŒฑ
The Institute of Soil & Environmental Sciences at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad - Official celebrated World Soil Day 2024 under the guidance of Professor Dr. Zahir Ahmad Zahir, Director of the Institute. The event was organized by the Soil and Environmental Sciences Students Society (SESSS) and highlighted this yearโ€™s theme: "Caring for Soils: Measure, Monitor, Manage."
๐ŸŽ‰ Event Highlights:
โ€ข A cake-cutting ceremony marked the start of the celebrations.
โ€ข A 3D model competition showcased students' creativity and innovation that emphasized the importance of soil conservation and sustainable management.
โ€ข The top three participants were honoured with shields for their outstanding presentations.
๐Ÿ‘ This event celebrated the vital role of soil in sustaining life and inspired everyone to take action for its protection. Letโ€™s continue to raise awareness and care for the soil that nurtures us all!
