The Department of Library & Information Resource Center at TUF successfully organized the Intra-University Naat Competition as part of the Ihtimam Ramadan event series. The event showcased the heartfelt praises of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by talented students from various departments. Prof Dr Abdul Wahid, Director Academics and Convener Library Committee, was the Chief Guest, and a distinguished panel of judges, including Ms Ayesha Batool and Ms Saffia Jaffar, evaluated the performances. The top three winners were:

1st Place: Zarish Fatima (BSIS)
2nd Place: Aneeqa Amber (DPH)
3rd Place: Syeda Sakina (BSOP)

The University of Faisalabad shines a light on the future of education with a comprehensive orientation session on the HEC ODL Policy and AI integration. Delving into the realms of learning, teaching, and assessment, the session underscores the transformative potential of technology. Mr Tanveer Ahmed, Consultant/Specialist HEDP, Dr Hamza Amin, Vice Chairman BOG, TUF, Mr Hassan Rasheed, Member BOG, Ms Zahida Maqbool, Registrar and other distinguished participants from GCWUF, FAST-NU, and TUF graced the occasion with their presence.
Mr Tanveer Ahmed defined HEC's ideology of ODL, including terms like asynchronous and blended learning, emphasizing quality standards, and promoting lifelong learning. The session outlines eligibility criteria for universities offering online programs and highlights the pivotal role of the ODL Management Office (OMO). Faculty training, technology infrastructure, and assessment policies take center stage, emphasizing a holistic approach to education. Additionally, the significance of library and digital resources, Open Educational Recourses (OERs), and student support services in shaping a robust learning environment was underscored.
