Students who have applied for summer semester 2025 re-enrollment, can download their fee voucher from their portals tomorrow at 10:00 am. Tomorrow will be the last day to pay the dues without fine. Please pay your vouchers tomorrow & submit your paid voucher to my office to ensure your enrollment.

Attention Students Facing Attendance Shortage Due to Late Fee Submission & Late Enrollment

Students who are facing attendance shortages as a result of late fee submission are advised to submit a formal application to the IT Focal Person ( Dr.Hafiz Sohrab Ali) in his office till Wednesday 04-06-2025 for updating their attendances if they have attended the classes but due to late late fee submission they could not get enrolled well in time. The application must be:

Duly recommended by the concerned course teacher

Attached with the relevant attendance record duly verified by concerned teacher

Approved by the Director of LBS

Various Departments of the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at Government College University Faisalabad hosted a touching farewell ceremony in honor of 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐫, celebrating his decades of dedicated service, leadership, and academic excellence.

The event was graced by 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐟-𝐢-𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐦 as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Dr. Hazoor Muhammad Sabar was recognized as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony paid tribute to his outstanding journey from his early days as a Associate Profassor to becoming a distinguished Professor of Economics, serving in key positions including 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬, and a valued member of numerous committees.

In his address, the Vice Chancellor lauded Dr. Sabar’s exceptional contributions to the development of the university’s academic and administrative landscape, calling him a pillar of strength within the GCUF community.
“GCUF is not just an institution, it's a family — and you will always be welcomed here,” he remarked warmly.

In an emotional farewell speech, Dr. Sabar expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, faculty, and especially the faculty from Lyallpur Business School, Department of Commerce, and Department of Public Administration for their support and for organizing such a memorable send-off. He acknowledged the team spirit that marked his career and extended his heartfelt wishes for the university’s continued success.

During the ceremony, various faculty members also expressed their admiration, applauding Dr. Sabar’s professionalism, humility, and mentorship.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐩𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, also expressed his deep respect and admiration for Dr. Hazoor Muhammad Sabar. He praised his exceptional mentorship and acknowledged the enduring influence he has had on faculty development and academic culture.
