President PSA and DGA Research celebrating Jashn-e-Azadi

A cake cutting ceremony was held at the Agronomic Research Institute (ARI), Faisalabad on August 13, 2026 in connection with the Independence Day celebrations and in accordance with the special instructions of the Government of the Punjab. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Sajid-ur-Rahman, Chief Scientist, AARI, Faisalabad, along with Dr. Ghulam Sarwar, Chief Scientist, Vegetable Research; Mr. Hafiz Saeed-Ur-Rahman, Principal Scientist; and Mr. Ubaidullah Khan, Scientific Officer (PB&G), CSAR Office, Faisalabad. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Chief Scientist, ARI, along with senior researchers of the Institute, warmly welcomed the guests and hosted the ceremony with great national spirit and enthusiasm. On the occasion, a meeting was also held to review the Performance Contract (PC) 2025–26 and finalize the PC 2026–27 of the Agronomic Research Institute. The meeting, chaired by Dr. Sajid-ur-Rahman, focused on assessing progress against assigned targets, strengthening institutional performance, and ensuring effective implementation of research activities. The event concluded with a renewed commitment to quality agricultural research, improved institutional performance, public service, and practical solutions for the farming community of Punjab. Pakistan Zindabad!
