A proud moment for UET Faisalabad Campus as M. Aqeel, representing the official football team as goalkeeper, delivered an outstanding performance in the quarter-final against GCU Lahore. His crucial saves, including brilliant penalty stops, played a decisive role in securing the team’s victory. Owing to his exceptional performance and match-winning contribution, he was deservedly awarded Player of the Match. Congratulations to Aqeel for this remarkable achievement and for making the campus proud!

The Opening Ceremony of the Sports Gala 2026 at University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Faisalabad Campus, was held on Monday, 16th February. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mohsin, Campus Coordinator, FSD Campus, who highlighted the vital role of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and a balanced academic life.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Sajjad Ahmad, Convener Sports Committee, also expressed his commitment to promoting healthy sporting activities on campus and acknowledged the collective efforts of faculty members, staff, and students in making the event successful.

More than 17 outdoor and indoor games will be played by the students during the gala. Inter-faculty matches will also add to the excitement and competitive spirit of the event.

The ceremony concluded on a celebratory note with a cake-cutting ceremony, joined by faculty members, symbolizing unity, collaboration, and the collective spirit of the UET Lahore, Faisalabad Campus.

Congratulations to Shahzaib, M. Aqeel, and Intizar Mahdi on their official selection for the University Football Team. Your hard work on the field has truly paid off, and it is a privilege to see such talent representing our institution.
