The Department of Education, conducted an international seminar on Academic Leadership and Research Innovation and Digital Transformation and Academic Leadership. The resource persons for the seminar were Dr Uzma Sarwar, Associate Professor, School of Education, Huanggang Normal University, China, and Dr Kiran Fazal, Lecturer, School of Education, Xi’an Fanyi University, Xi’an, China. The seminar offered valuable insights into contemporary academic leadership, research innovation, and the growing role of digital transformation in higher education. Active participation from faculty members and students made the session highly engaging, informative, and impactful.

Under the Staff Development Program series, the first session was conducted under the theme “Mental Health Awareness and Workplace Well-Being for Administrative Staff,” with a specific focus on stress management. The ice-breaking session was facilitated by Dr. Zahida Maqbool, Registrar, TUF, along with Dr. Nabeela Rasheed, Clinical Psychologist.
The session aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of mental health in the workplace and to promote a supportive and healthy work environment. Key points discussed included understanding mental health concepts, recognizing workplace stressors, identifying early warning signs of stress and burnout, reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues, and appreciating the importance of seeking timely support.
To reinforce learning, live demonstrations and practical activities were conducted to ensure better understanding and engagement. Additionally, assessment proformas related to stress situation indicators were distributed among participants. An activity focusing on identifying peak stress times was also carried out, with the purpose of raising awareness and normalizing discussions around stress in the workplace.
An interactive session further allowed participants to actively engage through discussions, demonstrations, and practical activities, reinforcing their understanding of stress management and mental health concepts.

The Literary Society, in collaboration with the Dramatics Society, successfully organized a Quaid Day event to commemorate the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The event aimed to promote patriotism and highlight the values and vision of the founder of Pakistan.
The program featured a range of activities, including speeches, Urdu and English poetry, and a skit portraying important aspects of Quaid-e-Azam’s life and leadership. Students participated with great enthusiasm, and the audience remained attentive and engaged throughout the event.

A comprehensive emergency response training session was organized at The University of Faisalabad for faculty members and administrative staff. The training was conducted by Rescue 1122 professionals, Sir Muzammil Hussain and Sir Fahad Amin, who shared vital knowledge on emergency preparedness and effective response strategies. The workshop covered key areas including first aid, handling of emergency equipment, and emergency evacuation techniques. The session was well-attended by faculty, administrative staff, and students from various semesters, all of whom gained practical insights into managing critical situations with confidence and care.
