حکومت پنجاب اور سیکرٹری سوشل ویلفیئر اینڈ بیت المال ڈیپارٹمنٹ پنجاب کی ہدایات کی روشنی میں یومِ استحصالِ کشمیر کے موقع پر چلڈرن ہوم فیصل آباد میں خصوصی تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔

تقریب کا آغاز کشمیری عوام سے اظہارِ یکجہتی اور شہدائے کشمیر کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرنے کے لیے ایک منٹ کی خاموشی سے کیا گیا۔ بعد ازاں مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر کی صورتحال اور کشمیری عوام کی جدوجہد پر مبنی خصوصی دستاویزی فلم دکھائی گئی۔

اس موقع پر رہائشی بچوں کے ساتھ تفاعلی نشست کا بھی انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں یومِ استحصالِ کشمیر کی اہمیت، انسانی حقوق اور قومی یکجہتی کے موضوعات پر آگاہی فراہم کی گئی۔

🎬 Call for Volunteers – Introductory Documentary

Every child has a story worth telling. Join us in capturing the journey, resilience, and aspirations of the residents of Children Home Faisalabad through the power of storytelling.

We invite students of Media, Mass Communication, and Literature to volunteer in recording, editing, and presenting an introductory documentary. Certificates of Participation will be awarded to all volunteers, while the Best Documentary will receive a Shield & Prize.

📚 Inspiring Young Minds Through Reading!

Children Home Faisalabad, in collaboration with Rahat Foundation, successfully organized an inspiring interactive session on "The Power of Reading: A Key to Success."

The session was conducted by Ms. Maryam Bajwa, renowned educationist and Faculty Member at Beaconhouse School Faisalabad, and was skillfully moderated by Ms. Haleema Jawad and Ms. Hajra Kaleem, Co-Founders of Rahat Foundation.

Renovation and upgradation of Children Home Faisalabad, including the newly established Home Circle, are being carried out in accordance with the directions of the *Worthy Secretary, Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department, Punjab*, to create a safe, child-friendly, and nurturing environment where every child can grow with dignity, care, and confidence.

Leadership Through Experience | One Day as Assistant Director
At Children Home Faisalabad, leadership is cultivated through practical experience. As part of our life-skills initiative, resident Ali Hasan served as Assistant Director for a Day, supported by Ali Ahad as Warden and Uzair Maqbool and Samar Bakhsh as CCWs.
From supervising daily operations and chairing meetings to resolving issues, monitoring attendance, purchasing daily essentials, planting a tree, and leading the evening assembly, the team experienced the responsibilities of institutional leadership firsthand.
