Science is at the heart of food safety. It helps us understand what makes food unsafe and guides us on how to prevent foodborne diseases. The theme of World Food Safety Day on 7 June 2025 draws attention to the use of scientific knowledge as key to reducing illness, cutting costs and saving lives.

A motivational step for shining students by GCUF

World Environment Day—held every June 5—is a global call to foster environmental awareness and inspire action. Backed by governments, NGOs, businesses, and communities, it stands as the United Nations’ flagship outreach initiative for environmental protection.
A seminar celebrating the World Environment Day was held today, Thursday, June 19, 2025 , at 11:00 AM at the Department of Chemistry, GCUF New Campus (Second Floor, Sir Syed Block).
