Students gathered at STC under the Leadership of Islami Jamiat Talba Punjab University in a large number.The students participated and raised their concerns regarding hostel closures during summer vacations.
The students demanded the university administration that hostels should remain open for those students who want to complete their internships in these summer vacations and for those who belong to distant areas and cannot easily return home during the holidays.
Students also demanded the administration to start summer semester for the timely completion of degree for Final semester students

Representatives of Islami Jamiat Talba submitted hundreds of applications in Vice Chancellor Office belonging to male and female students who want to complete internships during summer holidays

اب سے کچھ دیر قبل جامعہ پنجاب کی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے گرمیوں کی چھٹیوں میں طلبہ و طالبات کو ہاسٹلز خالی کرنے کا نوٹیفکیشن جاری کیا گیا ہے جو کہ سراسر طالبعلم دشمن اقدام ہے ۔
ہزاروں طلبہ و طالبات جو کہ ان چھٹیوں میں انٹرنشپ مکمل کرتے ہیں،براہ راست اس فیصلے کے زیر عتاب آ رہے ہیں۔
دور حاضر میں ہر قسم کی پر کشش ملازمت کے لئے انٹرنشپ طلبہ و طالبات کی بنیادی ضرورت ہے۔
مزید یہ کہ اس فیصلہ کی وجہ سے مختلف ڈیپارٹمنٹس میں سمر سیمسٹر بھی نہیں لگایا جا رہا جس کی وجہ سے کئی طلبہ و طالبات کی ڈگریاں 6 ماہ تک تاخیر کا شکار ہو جائیں گی ۔
انتظامیہ کی جانب سے پورے سال کی فیس وصول کیئے جانے اور ہاسٹلز کے واجبات میں اضافوں کے باوجود طلبہ کو مناسب تعلیمی ماحول سے محروم رکھنا سنگین انتظامی نا انصافی ہے ۔
ہم مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ یہ فیصلہ واپس لیا جائے ورنہ طلبہ و طالبات کی جانب سے بھرپور مزاحمت کی جائے گی ۔
