Congratulations to our PhD Scholars of Biotechnology for successfully defending their PhD Seminar II at the Gomal Center of Biochemistry & Biotechnology today huge round of applause to Ms. Roomah Javed for successfully defending her research on the *Phytochemical-Assisted Green Synthesis and Characterization of Neodymium and Tungsten Nanoparticles and Their Nanocomposite Using Dracaena fragrans Leaf Extract". Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Khan for successfully defending his research on the "Fabrication and Characterization of Bismarckia nobilis leaves-Derived Copper and Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles". He is conducting his research under the supervision of Dr. Muzammil Ahmad Khan, Associate Professor, Gomal Centre of Biochemistry and Biotechnology (GCBB), Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan.

Research Title:
Genetic Studies Identified a Missense p.Val310Glu Mutation in the Phospholipase A2 Group VI Gene Responsible for Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy.

Her thesis is titled “Genetic Study of Skeletal Anomalies in Pakistani Patients" was completed under the supervision of Dr. Muzammil Ahmad Khan, Associate Professor at the Gomal Centre of Biochemistry and Biotechnology (GCBB), Gomal University.
