🔹 🍴 𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗬
➡️ Classically seen with a 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 (Colles fracture).
➡️ The distal fracture fragment is displaced and angulated 𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆.
➡️ On the lateral radiograph, the dorsal angulation produces the characteristic “𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗸” appearance. 🍴
🔸 🥄 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗬
➡️ Classically associated with a 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 (Smith fracture).
➡️ The distal fracture fragment is displaced and angulated 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 (ventrally).
➡️ This produces the characteristic “𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗱𝗲” appearance on the lateral view. 🥄
