GLIMPSE FROM ITS ORIGION :
Mother's Day is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May month and this year we will be observing the day on May 9. People around the world dedicate this day to celebrate their mother's pure love and honor the supreme sacrifices she puts in to raise her children. Many people do not know that mother's day came into existence after the daughter of peace activist Ann Reese Jarvis put in her efforts to make it an official day after her mother passed.

Mother's Day was first celebrated when Anne Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at a church in West Virginia in 1907, three years after her mother passed. Anna Jarvis started her campaign in the year 1905, the same year when her mother died, to make mother's day a recognized holiday. Her efforts bore fruit eventually and Mother's Day began to be observed officially after former American president Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation in 1914 declaring the second Sunday in May as a national holiday.

HKFC is glad to announce its new project, Internet Café and English speaking practice circle, realizing the need of students during the worse condition of the pandemic that has suffered educational sector the most.
Note: This initiative is a source of HKFC's Female Counseling Center (Only girls are welcomed).

50PKR daily or 1300 for 200 credit hours, which is comprised of 6 hours daily, will be charged.

The plus point of the initiative is in every first and last week of a month a bonus course will be announced by HKFC for its Female Counselling Center. Some of the training courses and sessions will be:
• Office suites training
• Presentation Software
• Blogging and Content writing
• Literature review sessions
• Self and community hygiene sessions by doctors
• Guidance for Competitive Exams by officers
• Vocational training sessions

Reflection from Day 1.

Nawruz the day we are going to celebrate tomorrow marks as the Spring festival wrapping itself with dozens of messages for the new year. Lets have a look on where actually it has came from and what dose it want to spread out.
Nowruz, or Naw-Ruz has been celebrated for millennia both as a secular and religious holiday by people of many countries which were once part of the Persian Empire.
The history of Naw-Ruz (which literally means “new day”) dates back to the Achaemenid Empire, which existed some 2,500 years ago. In the ancient Persian calendar it is the first day of the first month of the solar calendar, and for Zoroastrians and Bahá'ís it is also the first day of the calendar year.
In 2010, March 21st was acknowledged as the official holiday of Nowruz by the UN General Assembly. According to the United Nations, “Nowruz plays a significant role in strengthening the ties among peoples based on mutual respect and the ideals of peace and good neighbourliness. Its traditions and rituals reflect the cultural and ancient customs of the civilizations of the East and West, which influenced those civilizations through the interchange of human values.”
For ancient Persians, this was a day for founding charitable institutions, and collections for the poor were made; it was important that this day did not end without making some special mark.
Nowruz signifies the beginning of spring, and the preparation of soil. Leading up to March 21, everyone cleans their houses and washes everything: carpets, furniture etc. They call it “house shaking”, and they literally get rid of all the dust and dirt in the house before the New Year comes.

Females in our area(specifically upper Chitral) are going through difficulties while their studies and jobs, in grabbing safe and secure place to stay in where they can have access to all their needs (we can't say luxury because it demands time I.A we will be able to say this in next few years) under a single roof. Being one of these females I used to think that there should be any way to provide a better place where these females can groom themselves and give their best to the society where they are living in.
That is the driving force behind my this initiative of Hosteling, Kid Care and Female Counseling Center (HKFC).
HKFC aims to provide it's quality service to commence an environment where students and working ladies are provided with 24 hour security, tidy and comfortable rooms, three times hygienic meal, most importantly separate study room, Computer lab, library, and free wifi in a very reasonable package because HKFC's purpose is to lend it's hand in uplifting the community through addressing what is lack which is needed the most.
