ڈسٹرکٹ سٹیئرنگ کمیٹی برائے صحت کا اجلاس
ڈپٹی کمشنر لوئر چترال مقبول حسین کی زیرِ صدارت ڈسٹرکٹ سٹیئرنگ کمیٹی برائے صحت کا اجلاس ڈپٹی کمشنر آفس میں منعقد ہوا۔
اجلاس میں ضلعی انتظامیہ، محکمہ صحت اور تمام متعلقہ اداروں کے افسران نے شرکت کی۔ اجلاس میں محکمہ صحت کی کارکردگی، درپیش مسائل، سروس ڈیلیوری اور طبی سہولیات کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا۔
ڈپٹی کمشنر نے سرکاری مراکزِ صحت میں ڈاکٹرز و طبی عملے، بالخصوص نئے بھرتی ہونے والے ڈاکٹرز کی متعلقہ سٹیشنز پر حاضری، سرکاری سٹورز میں مفت ادویات کی دستیابی اور مریضوں کو بروقت فراہمی، جبکہ مریضوں کے لیے تمام ضروری طبی سہولیات کی دستیابی یقینی بنانے کی ہدایات دیں۔
ڈپٹی کمشنر نے واضح کیا کہ عوام کو معیاری طبی سہولیات کی فراہمی، ادویات کی دستیابی اور سٹاف کی حاضری میں کسی قسم کی غفلت برداشت نہیں کی جائے گی، جبکہ ان امور کی باقاعدگی سے نگرانی یقینی بنائی جائے گی۔

Follow-Up Meeting on the Outsourcing of Schools Initiative
A follow-up meeting regarding the Outsourcing of Schools Initiative was held at the Committee Room of the Elementary & Secondary Education Foundation (ESEF), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under the chairmanship of Project Manager Mr. Shafqat ul Mulk.

The meeting was attended by the PIU staff, while the District Programme Officers (DPOs) and all School Operators participated virtually through Zoom.

During the meeting, a third-party assessment report prepared by KP-EMA was presented and thoroughly discussed. The assessment comprised both quantitative and qualitative data relating to 175 functional schools in the Winter Zone.

The performance of the School Operators was appreciated, particularly their efforts towards transforming low-performing schools into better-performing institutions. The assessment highlighted a considerable improvement in overall school readiness, while students’ learning outcomes remained at the expected standards during the first quarter of the outsourcing initiative.

The School Operators reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening school readiness, enhancing the quality of education, and improving students’ learning outcomes in the coming period.

ESEF Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains committed to promoting quality education and creating better learning opportunities for students across the province.

A New Chapter in Quality Education - Bannu

FCS Sokari Zabta Khan Model Community School is the first Model Community School in Bannu, developed under this initiative.

Driven by the vision of Mr. Qaisar Alam, Managing Director, ESEF, the initiative is creating safe, welcoming, and child-friendly learning spaces where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

More Community Schools in Bannu are on the way transforming schools, enriching learning, and building brighter futures.

Inauguration of Model Community School – ESEF Bannu

On the directions of the competent authority, ESEF Bannu inaugurated its first Community School as a Model Community School under the ASPIRE Project, marking an important step towards strengthening community-based education and improving learning opportunities for children.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Assistant Commissioner Headquarters, Bannu, on the invitation of Mr. Muhammad Rehan, DPO ESEF Bannu. The distinguished guest was warmly welcomed by the students and visited the classrooms, where he interacted with the children and took a keen interest in their learning environment.

To commemorate the occasion, books and school bags were distributed among the students, bringing smiles and joy to the children and making the event a memorable one. 📚🎒✨

The establishment of the Model Community School reflects ESEF KP’s continued commitment to providing quality, accessible, and inclusive educational opportunities for children across the province.

The initiative is being pursued under the leadership and guidance of Mr. Qaisar Alam, Managing Director, ESEF KP, whose commitment continues to support meaningful initiatives for the improvement of education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Day 3 | 4-Day Capacity-Building Training on Life Skills-Based Education

The third day of the four-day capacity-building training on Life Skills-Based Education (LSBE) for ESEF KP facilitators was held today at the ESEF KP Committee Room.

The session was chaired by Mr. Habib Ur Rehman, Director Programs, ESEF KP, and covered key areas including safeguarding, adapting session plans to diverse learning needs, and practical session delivery.

Conducted by the PAGE Foundation team, the training is supporting facilitators in strengthening their capacity to promote quality, inclusive, equitable, and life skills-oriented education across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Day 1 | 4-Day Capacity-Building Training on Life Skills-Based Education

The 4-day capacity-building training on Life Skills-Based Education (LSBE) for facilitators of the Elementary & Secondary Education Foundation (ESEF), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, commenced today at the ESEF KP Committee Room.

The training, conducted by PAGE Foundation, focuses on strengthening facilitators’ professional capacity through life skills, effective educational practices, inclusive approaches, learner engagement, and improved delivery of their responsibilities.

The first day was chaired by Mr. Habib Ur Rehman, Director Programs, ESEF KP, and attended by Ms. Salmana Zaman, Deputy Director QAAC, along with ESEF officials and facilitators.

The training is being delivered by the PAGE Foundation team, comprising Mr. Nouman Ali, Program Officer; Mr. Shair Ali, Program Officer; Ms. Saima, Technical Expert – Gender, Disability & Inclusion; and Ms. Aroba, Support Staff.

📚🌱 International Literacy Day Celebrated in Foundation Community Schools – Chitral Lower 🌱📚

Today, 8th September 2026, International Literacy Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in all Foundation Community Schools (FCS) in Chitral Lower under ESEF.

The event featured a range of meaningful activities, including a Plantation Drive 🌱, Cleanliness Activities 🧹, and an Awareness Walk 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️, aimed at promoting literacy, environmental responsibility, cleanliness, and community awareness.

Students, Facilitators, community members, and the DPO ESEF actively participated in the celebrations, making the day a memorable and purposeful occasion.

The activities reflected our shared commitment to quality education, a clean environment, and an informed and empowered community.

Cleanliness & Dengue Prevention Campaign
In compliance with the directions of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ESEF is conducting cleanliness, hygiene, and dengue prevention activities across the province.
District Staff, Foundation Community Schools, Facilitators, and Students are actively participating in the campaign by cleaning premises, removing stagnant water and potential mosquito breeding sites, inspecting drains and water-collection points, and promoting dengue prevention awareness.
Together, we are working towards a clean, healthy, and dengue-free Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Prevention is better than cure.
