Ajmer Foods, a renowned name in the food and bakery industry, conducted an engaging session for recent graduates, introducing their prestigious Management Trainee Officer (MTO) Program. The recruitment drive began with a comprehensive presentation by the Cakes and Bakes team, where they highlighted the dynamic career prospects available within their organization. The session was followed by a written test to evaluate candidates' technical and analytical skills. Shortlisted candidates then underwent rigorous interviews conducted by Ajmer Foods' HR executives.
The final phase included an online interview with the General Manager of Ajmer Foods, where eight talented students were selected for the MTO program. This paid training program not only offers practical industry experience but also serves as a stepping stone toward securing regular positions in the organization.

The Department of Management Sciences at the University of Chitral, in collaboration with the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), is holding a four-day bootcamp and enterprise advisory sessions from October 18 to October 21, 2024, under the project "START Aapna Karobar." This initiative aims to equip students with entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to launch microenterprises before graduation. The top seven ideas will receive PKR 300,000 each as seed money, along with mentorship to guide their ventures.
Such activities are essential for business students, providing practical experience alongside classroom learning. They allow students to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges, gaining skills in business modeling, market research, and financial management. The bootcamp also connects them with experienced mentors and entrepreneurs, fostering a valuable professional network.
