Professor Adams: "Good morning, Ava! How’s your vocabulary practice going today?"
Ava: "Morning, Professor! I’m doing alright, but I’m stuck on the word ‘determined.’ Can you help me with the opposite?"
Professor Adams: "Ah, ‘determined’! That's a great one! What do you think the opposite might be?"
Ava (thinking hard): "Maybe… ‘confused’?"
Professor Adams (raising an eyebrow): "Hmm, not quite. Think about someone who gives up easily."
Ava (scratching her head): "Uh… ‘optimistic’?"
Professor Adams (chuckling): "Not really. Try thinking of someone who’s indecisive or wavering."
Ava (pausing): "How about ‘passive’?"
Professor Adams (smiling): "Getting closer, but still not quite right. It’s about someone who’s not firm on their decisions."
Ava (sighing): "I don’t know, Professor. I’m stuck!"
Professor Adams: "Don’t worry, Ava! We’ll tackle it tomorrow. Keep thinking!"
Ava (grinning): "Alright, I’ll figure it out!"
Professor Adams: "That’s the spirit, Ava! Keep at it!"

Sophia presented Oliver with a tricky past tense verb during their grammar session.
Sophia said, "Oliver, here's a tricky one. What’s the past tense of 'to shrink'? It's a common mistake!"
Oliver thought for a moment and answered, "Shrinked?"
Sophia shook her head. "Nope, that's not right. Try again!"
Oliver scratched his head, looking unsure. "Shrunked?"
Sophia frowned. "Not quite! Keep thinking, you're getting close!"
Oliver hesitated and then guessed, "Shrunken?"
Sophia chuckled softly. "That's a common mistake, but not quite. Let’s try again!"
